Don't see JC stealing one from CRange, now the Range may give them one if they fail to show up, but they have so much returning and the growth in the 2 Freshmen from last year, I don't see the games even being within 12 points.

We've got 2 good sized backs that are 5-6 yds and a cloud of dust, one will just run you over and the other will take about 3 to bring him down lol. Another,r that's smaller in size, is also in the rotation but is all speed, if he gets a lane, he'll be gone. They all pound the ball pretty good. The D is playing pretty good with one DB playing man coverage against U last week and held their "go to guy" to 26 yds last week. That's gonna be a lot harder this week, all the DB's are going to have to play tough and make some big hits. How many kids you all got that play more than just football?

Sounds like Jennings has no favorite receiver and will find the open man. That may cause some problems for our secondary. Our Line is going to have to win the battle at the line and put some pressure on Jennings. That's not an easy task, he's an all around good athlete and can run pretty good.

When YI played SC they had several starters out hurt. Not saying that they would have beaten them, just that it would have been a much better game. Milan was a play maker for sure, but we had 14 yr old freshmen trying to catch and tackle him and it just didn't happen. This district is going to get interesting over the next few weeks. If LA wins out, which is highly likely, how are tiebreakers determined?

One fumble tonight that was lost. YI played a good game but way too many penalties tonight, emotions were high and I guess that played a role in that.

YI over the U 34-12 on a last score by the U. Too much Samber on the mind to play football tonight.

On a previous thread it was mentioned that he wasn't attending practices much, but some stated that was due to his injury. Could be that!

YI has to take care of the ball and their defense has be at full throttle. They finally have all the injured back, so that's going to help a bunch. They can't give up a big play on special teams. YI has put a lot of points up so far except for the WC game but they have also given up a lot and most of those came off turnovers. If weather is as bad as they say it's gonna be, it might be a messy night for both sides. The U crew will be fired up but I believe Coach Wright will have the YI bunch ready too. Should be a good game.

Who's the playmakers for U? Heard the starting QB stepped away to focus on the baseball. Who's the new QB, Phillps maybe??? and how's he doing so far?

I do believe this was your post. No one from YI cares about anything but watching the boys play some good ole Friday night football. It's a ball game, good grief. Funny thing is, it's hard to teach kids to act like adults when adults don't act like adults. Just my 2 cents worth, but extra security is never a bad thing.
