whether the chiefs win or lose, i know all the games will be good ones! ( It would be ludicrous for any competitive team, whether it's thier first time or 17th time to not know the tournament is where it gets serious..don't you think.) Anyway,good luck again to everyone....the tounament should be full of lots of great games!

wow....you two are something else. No one is "beating their chest" you fool. I think when people predict you to come in dead last and you win the little "no trophy getting" district, one can toot a small horn. Do you think you guys are the only ones who ever knew anything about winning? How sad that you have to bash people on a high school sports blog. Maybe Sequoyah hasn't ever "made it past district playoffs" whoopee you guys are the greatest, we really stink just got lucky...the weather was bad and tornados were coming.....the wind was blowing....let's see what else? Baseball is a game of ups and downs so who knows if the Chiefs will keep playing well enough to "win a trophy". But all the games have been great to watch. I believe I would look in the mirror and see who's ignorant. Why don't you just be grown ups and "say great job sqhs, and give them just a tiny bit of respect. You guys both pull for good teams so I know it will be a good tournament.

Hmmmmmm.......maybe you should come watch all three teams..... again. Didn't quite work out the way most had anticipated. The Chiefs are playing very well. Every player in their starting line-up has hit a HR and most have hit multiple ones. Their pitchers down to #4 or 5 can handle most teams. So the Chiefs will enjoy being disrict champs and thier #1 seed for now but they also know the easy part is over.....tournament time is when it gets serious! Hopefully they will continue to play well as a team and contiue to be successful!!! Go Chiefs!

I was told the games were back up a day to Tuesday and Wednesday but Central backed out and wouldn't play a double header. I guess when you are ready to get your pretty blue uniforms dirty, we will see you on the field.....Great win last night against another "Tennessee School of Blind and Deaf!" I think other 5AA teams has played McMinn County?

I think your team had the Yankee's booked up on the first half of the schedule. How is that working for you guys?

My comment is true and Yes our entire stands couln't believe a large number of calls. Guess we aren't listening to the same people... Watch the film. Your coach did say derogatory things to our players because he mentioned it to them at the end of the game. I think he appoligzed,but as an educator he should never have lost his cool like that. No our coach isn't perfect..(I only knew of one perfect person)but I truly hope he leaves his cuss words for his own team. Of course (sadly) cussing goes on in football, however like I said...cuss your own team not the opposing one. Take Care and I really do wish you guys the best of luck..You have a great team.

SQHS on fall break....we have a great turnout at most home and away games this season... sorry but after driving almost 2 hrs to pay 3 dollars to park (really?) and see the sad lack of class from the announcer and SM coaches, and not to mention the JOKE of officiating...I guess it's a good thing there were only a few fans. Congrats to Signal Mtn for the win...but got to give kudos to SQHS.. Noone's prediction came to fruition....held to SM 21 pts at halftime..not to shabby. I think their starters played the entire game as well... Best of luck to SM in the post season will be curious to see how they do.

Good luck to you guys the rest of the season and in the post season..hopefully you can take that reffing crew with you because I don't think you could have one be any more obviously one sided. They were totally clueless. Told one of our players they didn't know what the call was after he (the ref) went back and forth trying to decide what to call!! Unbelievable... Congrats to our sqhs boys...even though signal mountain was the winner of the contest, I don't think they expected the fight our boys gave. They def didn't have 50 by halftime...not even at the end of the game as several predicted. AND their starters didnt leave the game at halftime as also predicted BTW that coach you guys have up there needs to find some ethics and stop acting like a child and cussing opposing team players out. Cuss your own team if you want to red neck, but have some class and leave the visiting team players alone. Just because you appoligize at the end of the game doesn't make it right...Hope you feel good about your easy schedule wins because your not much of a winner in life .....JMO
