  1. Amazing. With JC's poor showing last night, Midtenn has transformed back into devilfanatic.
  2. Celebrate good times, cmon. There's a party going on right here. TNT. Really nice win against Pickett Co. Should be another tough one(weather permitting) against Clarkrange Friday night.
  3. Have to completely agree with this post. Pickett Co lost to Clarkrange by about 20, so if this game is close then Friday night might not be too good for LA.
  4. I agree that Coach Melton raised the bar for LA basketball. No doubt about that. Whether you liked how he did it, I guess that is all each person opinion. I think one of the concerns now has to be how well discplined the team will be. I mean are there any penalty for making mistakes with this new coach. One knock on Coach Melton was he was to high tempered when it came to his players messing up. I think there has to be some punishment for making mistakes. I'm not saying if the kid messes up a couple times to take him out but if several mistakes are made it should be addressed. I haven't seen that yet but I didn't see the Florida games so I dont know what he did down there. Miller is good about having practice but is their a penalty if you miss? These are just a few questions I have about discpline. Several games left so these questions should be answered sooner than later. The team needs support no matter the coach, but can Miller maintain what Melton built ??? We shall soon see. Hope the Upperman type games are over.
  5. First off, LA shooting was awful. But that may have been because of the Upperman D. In the 2nd half LA had no discpline on either end of the court. Upperman scored almost at will and LA shot practicaly nothing but 3"s. Down by 9-10 @ half, or whatever it was, was no need to panick. LA was lucky to beat Stone so it may be a lull there in. Cannon should be a good test.
  6. No open minded person would or could defend what happened last night. If the goal was to make the boys look bad, the coach failed miserably. In the whole debacle, someone did look pretty foolish but it wasn't any of the players.
  7. Johnson did have a little attitude but how many great ball players don't. The foul deal may have been messed up but no way the refs cost LA this game. The cats just got it handed to them. That happens sometimes. Echo your thoughts on the players. Pats on the back are deserved for the boys for not giving up. Nice game for M.Ramsey
  8. I'm certain LA will easily repeat as district champs(district opponents record last year 69-76). Lack of depth? No problem. Just play the starters all the time unless injury or foul trouble. I see the older Ramsey is growing rapidly. May be 7' before he graduates. He's a good kid. Hope he doesn't grow much more. The world in general just isn't made for 7' people. Repeating should be no problem for LA
  9. Great link there ballfan. It clears up a lot of playoff possibilities.
  10. Hey king, looks like this guy knows what he is talking about eh.
  11. Macon co wins a close one in a low scoring game
