It is hard to say who is best player in A football until you see them all. I guarnatee Sam Hays and Rafael Tyler are as good or better than any offensive players in the state in Single A. Hays is the 5th most effcient passer in the state regardless of classification and Tyler is the 5th best receiver in the state regardless of classification as well. He added to his totals with 5 receptions for 95 yards and 3 TDs last night in a 60-40 win over Union City. Along with over 1,100 yards passing(not sure exact totals) and 21 TDs Hays also has over 700 yards rushing and 8 TDs. These guys both desereve mention and Tyler should be a Mr. Football finalist.

Took the words outta my mouth B! Tyler deserves it! Hays kid has the best story in ALL CLASSES OF FOOTBALL, attitude in life, personality and noone in ALL FOOTBALL CLASSES can compare to Hays! But he never would want a sympathy vote, he'd tell you himself to vote for Tyler! Sam, Rafael, B we love you all! Gonna miss you smiley

Tyler, Lake Co, kid is fast and will go over 1000yds recieving this Friday! Close to 1500 all purpose! Double Covered and also sat in a couple of quarters(classy coach) due to us putting the mercy rule on a about 3 teams!

heres info that is irrelevant to this topic but did anyone know that the New York Giants General Manager played and graduated from Lake Co??? Jerry Reese, class of 81, and his parents still live in Tiptonville!!! And he is also a huge donor to the county and football team...gloves headsets motivational speeches etc...his brotherin law Coach Greg Ross is asst at LC now!!!! i know i know but i had to share that! South Fulton lost their QB for the year so???? No offense, but Bruceton and West Carroll are both 1 and done in the playoffs! although anything can happen.....Bruceton's still down and WC is always about the same!

Lake County is good but not that good. They can score and have speed but their defense isn't THAT good. If your defense is good...you do not allow 40 points with a 60 point win. Make Sense??

 

I was most impressed by their QB. He can throw, fast and quick. They are good..do not get me wrong but I really don't think they can handle a Wayne Co. or South Pitt type team!!

Bigster, the final score was against the subs and the Union City offense was held to 6 points in the decisive third quarter with a couple of big 4th down stops when LC basically put the game away. Game over lets move to Greenfield and the Falcons go for win 8. Hate to look back but LC is a blocked PAT vs Humbolt and a defensive stop against S. Fulton from being undefeated. This team has played hard everygame and had an opportunity to win in the 4th quarter of everygame. That is all you can ask from ANY team. Keep working hard and good things will come your way LC!!

Micheal Swift, went to Austin Peay and got his degree in chemistry, signed with the Chargers as a FA! Played 2yrs with the chargers and 3 with the panthers mainly on special teams! Extremely nice guy who does alot for the community! I do remember when we subbed late, Jewel Flowers was a freshman and got his first touch of the game and went about 85yds!
