He hasn't even had time yet to coach as long as he was a player. And trust me, as determined as Coach Haston is and with his competitive drive, his coaching will and already stands out. I was at the game and everytime CA made a run and gained momentum, Haston kept his composure and had his guys execute their game plan. They were mentally and pysically prepared because of Coach Haston. He is probably going to be even more competitive as a coach than he was as a player. He knew what we were facing last night in CA and saw how Malcolm and Martin were a big presence in the middle on both ends and also saw how none of CA's guards could stop #25 Mercer. Haston sees how the offense or defense plays out and I and along with several others will attest to it that he did a remarkable job adjusting during the game to what CA brought and that's why PC is playing next week. You have to have the Coach who teaches the players the strategy and gameplan to carry out and PC is capable of doing that and they proved it again last night. As soon as the game was over with, I spoke to a good friend of mine who went to CA and the first thing he said to me was, and I quote " We just got out-coached!" So that just goes to show you who prevailed in the end. Anyways, glad to see District-12A representing in the state with PC and Summertown. You guys always have a team who gives it their all and plays hard every possession. I've personally myself always enjoyed watching you play. Trotter is and has been a good fit for Summertown. Should make for an exciting week in Murfreesboro. See you there!
