  1. Enjoyed watching him play last year in the State Tourney. Great kid who not only runs the show at point, but can also penetrate and score at will and shoots well from the outside. Very fast and athletic as well. Hope to see him play at the Boro because to me, he plays his best in big time games.
  2. He hasn't even had time yet to coach as long as he was a player. And trust me, as determined as Coach Haston is and with his competitive drive, his coaching will and already stands out. I was at the game and everytime CA made a run and gained momentum, Haston kept his composure and had his guys execute their game plan. They were mentally and pysically prepared because of Coach Haston. He is probably going to be even more competitive as a coach than he was as a player. He knew what we were facing last night in CA and saw how Malcolm and Martin were a big presence in the middle on both ends and also saw how none of CA's guards could stop #25 Mercer. Haston sees how the offense or defense plays out and I and along with several others will attest to it that he did a remarkable job adjusting during the game to what CA brought and that's why PC is playing next week. You have to have the Coach who teaches the players the strategy and gameplan to carry out and PC is capable of doing that and they proved it again last night. As soon as the game was over with, I spoke to a good friend of mine who went to CA and the first thing he said to me was, and I quote " We just got out-coached!" So that just goes to show you who prevailed in the end. Anyways, glad to see District-12A representing in the state with PC and Summertown. You guys always have a team who gives it their all and plays hard every possession. I've personally myself always enjoyed watching you play. Trotter is and has been a good fit for Summertown. Should make for an exciting week in Murfreesboro. See you there!
  3. I believe that PC will have to come out and play their type of game to pull out a victory. With their quickness in transistion offense, they have been unstoppable all season. It's just if they come out and play like they know how to play. I'm familiar with CA's front court but was wondering how good are their guards. I've seen Dray Mercer play all season and he is by far the quickest guard I've seen all year. If he can come out and really set the tone early and push the ball up the floor, it will make for a very interesting game. Our front court will definitely have their hands full. Boxing out will have to be done for PC every time the shot goes up if we want a victory. All five on the floor at each time will have to execute the offense pick it up on defense. I've seen too many teams lose games due to poor defense. Anyways, I look forward to seeing a great game between two talented teams and hope whoever wins the best in the state tournament. See you in Clarksville!!! "Offense wins Games, Defense wins Championships!"
