  1. Alot of talk of how good Bradley is going to be but they probably lost more than most 6A teams in the area. You have a really tough schedule and thats without anyone talking about Soddy Daisy, who probably lost less than any other team. Just Saying.
  2. Your not fooling anyone. These are the on campus dorms for the "new talent". This way everyone has an address. All kidding aside.... Great Pic!
  3. I am sure it won't be hard to spot the new "talent". It cracks me up that Signal Mtn parents cried forever to have their own high school so that their kids would be able to go to school on the mtn, but when it comes to sports it doesn't matter where the kids come from as long as they win.
  4. Whatever, You were playing half of our starters. I can't help the fact that we have a state playoff caliber baseball team. Maybe if Howard would have some better baseball players you could have kids playing baseball a little longer too. Even Clevelands coach was shaking his head at the things you called cathces last year.
  5. Just hope you have some officiating this year other than Coach Price. Thats the only thing that kept it close last year
  6. Between baseball, track and kids hurt, there were around 10 kids who either start or would recieve serious playing time not in the game. It was so good just to have football again, but wasn't thrilled at how the refs let the fights go on without tossing kids from the game. Our coaches sat our kids that were involved for the rest of the game. Price sat out a kid that threw 8 punches to a kid on the ground for 2 plays. Nice, dissapointing but not suprising.
  7. There will be roughly 6 to 7 players/starters who haven't yet put on pads and will not be there today.
  8. Soddy-Signal scrimmage has been moved to tomorrow at 6
  9. Soddy-Signal scrimmage has been moved to tomorrow at 6
  10. We have about 5 starters that won't be in pads for at least 3 weeks due to baseball, including Harris. However it should be fun providing it doesn't storm all day.
  11. Soddy Daisy's wasn't in there either, but you can check it out in today's
  12. WOW! Here is a link to an impressive article written by Stephen Hargis of the Times Freepress. Read into it what you will but it is pretty straight forward. My link
  13. What you have to understand is that it isn't personal with the kids that transfered, but it is the second year in a row where Cleveland has taken parts from our team during spring practice. I don't blame Slaughter leaving to line his pockets but they way it went down left alot of upset parents as well as kids. It would be wise not to talk about next year. You might want to look at both starting rosters before foot is inserted into mouth. Look on the brightside, I think rivals has you at having the #3 recruiting class behind #2 Baylor and #1 Signal Mtn.
  14. Very much a possibility. . But look on the brightside. You'll be able to hit the recruiting trail a week early. May not be a bad idea seeing how your going to lose about EVERYONE that has touched the ball on offense this year(exception of #8) and I don't think anyone in the district would care if you brought back your entire D.
  15. For those that left, maybe the grass isn't greener on the other side huh... As for having class... We would be more than happy to come up there and help you polish your district trophy but you will have to wait a little while............. We have practice next week. Sorry.
  16. "You beat yourselfs and you didn't care about the game." The most obvious part of that statement was the fact that you weren't there. Your team was jumping up and down before the game on a complete high. If you think Jamarcus, Jeremy and Coach Slaughter didn't want to win this game more than any other on the schedule then your need to stop showing your ignorance and quit posting. Your team really beat themselves. Last time I checked we were the team with 3 turnovers. Be carefull driving around Bradley County today. I believe Cedric Edwards has been spotted and is still running through Cleveland. I think he is half way up Keith St. as we speak.
  17. Cleveland has a very balanced attack. They have several standout players in Voytik (QB), Mobley (RB) and a couple really good recievers in #1 and #5. They tend to be deep ball oriented in passing and power run with Mobley. Their defense is fast but not very good. Be careful with Voytik because he can run the bootleg as good as anyone and is not only a great passer but athelete as well. Other than that, they enjoy reading the back of Cedric Edwards Jersey...........
  18. I was told that neither Jamarcus nor Jeremy would even look at or speak with any of the Soddy players after the game. Chalk this game up to a big dose of Karma for all those involved. Scoreboard Cedric Edwards ......... 328 Cleveland Blue Trojans........ Not so much
