How did the scrimmage with Tyner go heard it went so so , but also heard OZ had a few boys hurt and got a few hirt in the scrimmage Morgan LB being one of them . Does anyone know what happened and how it went for real what is the extent of injuries and when will they be back.Already heard they had a running back out and now their linebacker!!

Which linebacker did they lose cause didn't they have a kid that was linebacker of the year? Was this the one they lost, do they have someone to replace him ? And how about the secondary they gave up some pass plays last year. I am hearing that they have alot coming back sounds like with a few holes plugged this could be a GREAT year for OZ!!! Also who was the DT they lost did he play offense also?

I know OZ has alot of returning starters on Offense but, what does the defense have coming back alot of points with a strong offense does no one any good if your giving up as many as your making I also heard that they were getting a new defensive coach who is he? Who is back and where?

All great comments , I know Coalfield has a slew of offensive talent coming back but, still wandering what holes OZ will have to plug in their defense in order to stop the offenses they will be faced with who did they lose and who is coming back ? From the looks of their schedule Coalfield isn't the only team capable of putting up alot of points

I've heard alot about not losing anybody on oliver springs team also. What do they have coming back on defense, they had some break downs last year and gave up some points against some teams they shouldn't have heard the whole offense is back but very curious about the defense??

The Morgan kid from OS is one of the best sure tacklers I've seen and can read faster than anyone I've seen at his age, if he continues at the pace he is going with a few pounds and somemore upper body he could most certainly be a college prospect. At this point his ability to react and get to the ball is way beyond his years.

You guys seem to be knowledgeable about the coming and goings of prep football does anyone know when the selections for all district and all region teams will be made I seen that dist. in 3aaa have already made theirs, would like to see when A-AA make theirs, could be another way to gauge comp. and know what to look for in upcoming games players to watch etc.

It seems to me that no one is giving oz a chance in this just like no one gave them a chance in the wartburg game and we know how that one came out. I really hope that the people from rockwood and wartburg and even Hampton keep talking about playing each other all the while hopefully oz can go about the business of slippin through the cracks and advancing oz has a good team this year , had some mental break downs along the way but I think all that's behind them seem to be playing as a team and coming together as for the reg season oz offered to play rockwood in week 3-4 last year and rockwood said week 0 or nothing .

Why would someone from south of the river get on here and try to start crap and call people morons for dicussing their views on an upcoming game between two teams from roane county . Most people from both Rockwood and Oliver Springs have nothing but respect for each other and the programs playing on Friday.Hopefully if both teams show up it will be a GREAT game, both have showed the same types of teams at times throughout the year . I have sat here and struggled not to sink to your level but I have a weakness for responding to REAL MORONS!! If you are 0-10 you should not have anything to say about any team in east TN. as for the weak defense you almost scored as much on Hancock county as you scored on O Springs . Everybody goes through ups and downs it is a fact of life!! It is how you handle the downs that matter a good way to start is to keep your mouth shut, your nose down and keep plugging .
