And last Thursday, ND swept OHS in 2 straight games. The tie-breaker is this Friday at 4pm (Red Bank) in a Pool Play match of the Choo-Choo Tourney. Why do the Lady Owls have to wait until the "rematch" against a team to play the way they are capable of playing??

Is there a schedule available anywhere yet??

In the rematch, OHS won 3-1. Scores were: 25-18, 25-20, 17-25 and 25-22.

Ooltewah played a bit up and down all day but against Brentwood it was mostly up. They controlled the first game the whole way. Several big blocks set the tone early. In the second match, Ooltewah jumped out to an early 7-1 lead but then Brentwood took control. The third game was very close (tied at 18) before Brentwood pulled away.

I saw #8 for Lebanon at Brentwood this past weekend. I was told she's only a Soph and I'm guessing at least 6' 4". I'd say she has a lot of potential but needs to have much more vball experience. Athletic but seemed to get turned around in circles. I know Hixson beat them, both games they played.

Yes they are playing again next Monday, but I just hope they are 100% ready to "focus". If that's the case, then the "revenge" will take care of itself.

Based on schedule I have been given, game times for Ooltewah are: 10 am vs GPS 11 am vs Brentwood 1:30 pm vs Ft. Payne 2:30 pm vs ER All times are Eastern.

I concur. I know of several other girls that have improved their serve reception because of club ball.

Com Passion: Unfortunately I missed the matches yesterday but understand Oowaa was up 19 - 6 in the second game against Boyd, before losing. As I've said before, I think we may start slow but will finish strong!

Just found out over the weekend that the OHS and Bradley match tomorrow (Tues 8/23) is now going to be at Ooltewah. The match next Monday will be at Bradley. Start time tomorrow, I believe will be 5 pm for JV and approx. 6 pm for Varsity.

ER is very solid but unfortunately 1 great player does not make the entire team "the best". They have great coaching and should make it to state and could even win state in A/AA but according to my schedule they will be playing Brentwood on Sat. Aug. 27, at Ooltewah and I don't know if they can win that one. I guess going undefeated, would make them one of the best ER teams ever.

If you are from Chattanooga, did you see the replay of the TN / GA All-star match on channel 46? Talk about announcers not knowing much about volleyball?? At least have someone doing "color" who has a clue. I realize it's very low budget but still...............

Regarding UT individual camp, (no real surprise) Laura Brock got every coaches attention. Watched her play on Sunday morning and she showed so much hustle and athleticism. After camp wrapped up, she had 2 handfuls of cards and phone numbers.
