Where was ELA coaching this past season. Last I had heard, he was at Gibson County.

Who is Winston? Stewart County and Montgomery Central has had a some interesting games the last few years. I think that trend will continue with 2 new coaches.

Northwest, at this point, is not a good job. But, with Dr. Johnson as principal, I see it getting better. He is a former football player & coach who is probably on his way to the Director of Schools position for our county. He will not be at Northwest long. He will want the program to be successful. I would say he is more involved in finding the right coach than Smith is.

Administration

It is easy to keep the stats from film and when you are the head coach of the team reporting Spring scrimmage stats.

4A Montgomery Central, Jeff Tomlinson

I will throw out 4 names or possibilities: Snider, Southerland, Ray, Goodwin.

They are a very well prepared team. We had a chance to beat them last season, but missed a crucial extra point In The last moments of the game. We have to travel to Camden this year with a new coach in place. I like our chances however.

It seems as if Bucksfan is wanting something to be discovered or dug up. I must admit that this whole situation seems fishy. I don't wish ill will on anyone involved, especially the kids. What it boils down to is this, a principal can do whatever he wants under his building within the laws of education. Administration do not have to give a reason. It seems unfair, but that is the way it is. All coaches and teachers know this going in.

I don't think anyone suggested you were fired. Some of us thought that you & other assistants may have gotten wind of what was going down in Springfield. I am glad you are going to rejoin us in Montgomery County, albeit in the private sector. Good luck to all parties involved.

Yes! Even Coach Chris new something was up. I would dare say that Coach Myers saw it coming as well. He probably gave his assistants the heads up before hand. IMO, that was a classy move on his part. I just wonder if there is more to the story. We , the people of Montgomery County would like to know. Good luck to all parties involved.

Having watched Creekwood over the years playing us, it seemed to me that Creekwood ran double slot option. I don't ever recall them running wing-T. As a matter of fact, I recall a lot of conversations with other coaches talking about how well Creekwood ran the option.

Caught wind that the adm at West Creek brought a coach in this past Sunday for an interview. Does anyone know anything?

With that being said, has anyone come to the forefront for the West Creek job? I think we have finally found our coach here at the intersection of 13 & 48 North, but apparently has not been finalized.

It is Tomlison from Creekwood. He was over here yesterday to meet with administration. I guess all the crazy hoops someone has to go through in our system to get hired has been finalized.

Name I keep hearing is Tomlinson from Creekwood.
