Sellers splits his carries with 6 different backs and due to blowouts has played all 4 quarters of only 2 games this year. Lexington hardly ever passes, but when they do He almost always delivers. He's the go to playmaker for the #2 ranked team in the 4A state. Lexington has had one game under 35 points which was the very first game of the season and Sellers was unable to play in that game. The impact he has on the Lexington Offense cannot be put into words. Great Candidate.

I don't know about the Liberty game but Lexington played awful in the second half and still pulled out the win. Elite teams overcome adversity like Lexington and Liberty. I think Lexington has had 1 game to give up more than 25 points. You'll argue these teams suck well, we can't help who we play. The 42 given up to Liberty was admittenly due to lack of preparation. It was fair week and the students were out of school on wednesday, thursday, and friday. A lot of the points scored by teams are on our 2nd team D. I'm no arguing that West D is better but it's here I assure you of that.

I by no means agree with the starter of this post. It's clear that Greeneville is the proven team. With that being sad I have a few problems with your post. We handled the middle of the state with ease last year. The defense is improving weekly and are really starting to click. Last year at trezavent there are intangibles that I won't bother mentioning because you'll take them as excuses. Lexington was a much better team than trezvent but that is aside the point because that was last year. In high school football you can't ever chalk up a win because of teenage emotion. I wish Greeneville luck because there is no one else Lexington would rather play than the best.

Sellers finished with 94 rushing, 70 or so passing. A bad game in his perspective.

Phelps, 3 BUSTED plays- 160 yards. Phelps, 14 DESIGNED plays- 60 yards. I wouldn't say we couldn't stop him, he just got lucky on some busted plays. He's good, but I have already said this numerous times. But, let's not get carried away saying he's amazing.
