I didn't say I laughed at our kids (They're mine as much as they're yours) I said I laughed at the game. The kids played hard and done everything they knew to do. I'm not downing your coach. I'm speaking of the one game i saw them play last year. I'm sure i have more history with covington high and the chargers than any of you come latelys. I listened to the hype all year last year. I'm just saying i hope the chargers don't have false hope again because of bias. The program has definitely improved.If you were at that Maplewood game you couldn't have been proud of that performance. I was very disappointed to say the least. They tried to run the same play with the same running back all night. I truly hope they win it all. "Garland Rebels and Covington Chargers is all it used to be for me." Good luck Chargers."

I have to pull for Covington as I am native to T County and Covington High Alumni.. I haven't been able to see them play this year so can't say. I listened to all the Charger hype last year on here and from Covington area friends. I took the trip to Maplewood and watched them in the playoff game and I laughed the entire game. I watched 2 or 3 single a teams last year that could have beat Covington. Maplewood stopped the one running back and one running play and the Charger coaches were baffled, It was game over. Are the Chargers more well rounded this year?

Dresden "should" win this game. I don't expect anything near a mercy rule though. If Dresden wins this game i expect it to be by 10 or less. Thus far with the exception of west carroll Dresdens schedule has been a cake walk. The panthers have improved the last couple weeks, especially on defense. Could be an upset for Dresden.

Come on guy! You lose all credibility putting that absurd comment on here. You must know noone let a pitch hit them. They're a great hitting team. You don't win 3 championships in a row letting pitches hit ya. Ya'll ran out of pitching and your backups backups used our guys for target practice. The worst pitching i've seen at that level. Don't cry and be a sore loser you were beat by a good team. Ya'll were lucky you weren't penalized for hitting so many of our batters. One of your pitchers pitched to 3 batters and hit all 3! Be real man! Don't make your team look that bad. Lose and win with grace! By the way, we were not hit by a single pitch today after your guys hitting us 12 times yesterday!

I think noone should be overlooked. At this point in the season any team can lose or win. I would never bet a cent against any high school team in the playoffs. It's all just arguable opinion on my part. The better team doesn't always win.

Yes they did beat us 3-2. They shouldn't have though. It was probably the worst game we played. Just goes to show anything can happen in high school baseball.

I haven't personally seen North Greene play but I doubt they're any weaker than Huntingdon.

I would say if actually seeded F.C. would be the #1 this year with Riverside 2nd.

I think just the opposite about the strength of the brackets. I think Riverside's bracket is a little tougher. Another Friendship vs Riverside championship game is still my prediction although it's HS baseball and Eagleville and Cascade are also good contenders IMHO. Hoping for some good safe games.
