  1. Great Game Camden was a rock solid team. Props again to #75 and their fans. Camden's reverses and wing t was shut down the entire night other than one short field drive. Milan's coaching staff has the game plan on how to stop that type of offense. #20 for Milan, his fumble going inside the 20 changed the entire game. Without it, Milan probably would have squeezed it in and made it 17-0. But he was the best player out there tonight. He made huge plays. Milan's D will only get better. All sophomores and juniors at LB. Jeff Morris and company need major props for leading this young team back to the semis after losing all 11 starters on offense. Giving up 6 on the road. Ill take it. Nice win bulldogs
  2. This game could go either way, honestly. If Milan loses, don't be surprised. They are very young and losing players right and left on the O-line. Really inexperienced on the road this Friday. Then again, don't be surprised if Camden loses either. Milan always has a strong D and they have made it this far for a reason. If Camden loses this one @ home, however? Wow Predictions: No one will block #88 from Milan until around mid-3rd when the "surrender techniques" begin and the o-line starts diving at the knees. Milan-24 Camden-21
  3. Lol @ do your homework. Not to disrespect, but the '65 west tn cotton bowl? Really, you had to pull that out?
  4. Past always is a factor. Milan has lost 2 consecutive years to Alcoa... you don't think if Milan was to make it to the state championship against Alcoa, that it wouldn't be in the back of their minds??? The past is the past and it has to be thrown in the equation. It's called a monkey for you. And no, its reality. I've seen Alcoa play in person the last 6 years. You take your hoo rah team up to Alcoa and you will come back wondering why you couldn't move the football. I hope Camden gets to State. I would love to see that thrashing of your "best team ever"
  5. I rarely ever pick against Milan when it comes to West Tennessee matchups, and every time I do.... (i.e. Last year @ Crockett County, 26-0), Milan always comes out big. If Camden loses this playoff game at HOME, with the best team they have ever had, against a young and rebuilding Milan team....... :roflol:
  6. Set aside all the emotions about your team and look at the facts: I'm from Milan. Milan IS down. They lost ALL 11 starters from the offensive side of the ball (including 2 premiere talents) Milan is very young but talented. They have a Sophomore QB that is in his first year. They lack size up front and a big threat at WR. However, Coach Morris still has this team 11-1 and in the discussion for who represents the West. Coach of the Year? Probably so, IMO. Camden supposedly has the "best team they have ever put on the field"....................(heard this before) Camden is at HOME (if this game was @ Milan, it would be a lock for a Milan win) You can't overlook being on the road. IMO, all the pressure is on Camden. They are the experienced team @ home. But that monkey might be too big to get off... Milan has completely dominated you. (15-2, won 9 straight) Best team you've ever had > Milan returning all 11 starters on O and young......I hope you can be excited. Everyone is playing for second place, anyway. Remember that.
