If you think Batts is better than Hibbett your a moron, and I do have an idea. Softness to a degree that is unmatched in HS FB. Also, I don't care about BJ, Willie, or Snuff(Great names by the way). Things on paper mean nothing in FB. I don't care who you've stopped in the past. Hibbett has legit D1 talent and he will routinely beast your kids. First, I hate Country Music. Second, Nobody cares about Kenny Chesney. I went to Gibbs and live in Corryton, and then and now we don't wake up and pray to KC. So get off it its old. Also, using a straight to DVD movie, which most of the former players I know have not even seen, is really sad. You guys are better than that(well maybe not). Kenny wasn't even good at football. The Devils of Fall is also dumb. Why is that all the schools with Devil as their mascot are lame. I guess it's determined when the school is founded. And the Devils of Fall sounds really lame as well. And your not going to just run wild. We may get beat on a few plays, but we'll hold our own. And your not going to shut us out either. I seriously doubt that you're going to hang 60+ point on Gibbs, and if you do we'll have close to that. You'll score, we'll score. It's going to be a back and forth game. You aren't going to come in and shut us down, and you haven't seen a back like Hibbett this year. You like the fact that you're rated number 1 and favored to beat everybody, but would you like to be the parents of the "kids" whose tailends you smoked and slaughter ruled because you could. Doubt it. Imagine how those Gibbs kids feel having never been there before. You think they're going to come out and lay down. East TN dominates the west in fb. You for sure have the edge in Bball but FB is ours.

I know where Greeneville is and good for you in Wrestling and G Bball. Gibbs Softball has been to the State tournament like 25 years in a row, has won a Championship in Baseball and routinely plays for more. Soccer is solid. Wrestling is decent and Golf wins region titles. Corryton is just as small as Greeneville and lacks in FB talent. AE and Fulton beat everyone normally and we have teams we play preaty much every year. Do we schedule up....no we don't because normally we would get pounded, and that would be dumb. Until the reclassification we had Fulton, AE, Anderson Cty, and Kingston all in one region with us. Not to mention Loudon and Scott Cty. So Scheduling tough out of region games would be stupid. Gibbs has not won a region title in almost 20 years. So why in the heck would we play good teams to get blasted week after week. If we continue to do well we will play better teams more consistently. Also, if you played AE and Fulton every year for the past 2 decades would you have a winning record against either. The answer is no.

Once again, I haven't once said that Gibbs is a powerhouse, or that they outscored Greeneville this season. I didn't dig through numbers as you did, very diligently I might add (Square). All I did is point out that Gibbs has scored some points this year. Maybe not as many as Greeneville(Greatest HS team ever according to people in Greeneville), but they've won enough games to get this far. They might go up there and get smashed or walloped or whatever you guys call it, they may come up there and give you a game and lose, or they might just come up there surprise you and beat you (Which would be followed by the Apocalypse according to Greeneville fans i'm sure).I'm not saying Gibbs is better or that you can't beat us. Im saying just because you've kicked the crap out of some teams this year doesn't mean you're going to roll us. Do it and I wont say another word.

First apparently Keyboarding is not an offered class at Greeneville. Second I never talked about Gibbs being a traditional powerhouse in HS FB. We're usually out talented at every position and lacking in depth. We happen to have a talented class of Seniors this year and have won some games. Also, I don't remember hearing about Greeneville dominating anybody in anything. At least Gibbs has some sports to hang their hats on. Also, they didn't hang 70 and we matched Td's for the better part of the game. Hibbett carried the ball over and over again against fulton. How many times a game do your rb's touch the ball. I bet Hibbett carries that much by himself, and what are we crying about. We don't think your going to stomp us in dirt, oh wait "the rubber pellets" you guys talk so much about. You might blow us out and go to win the State and if you do super for you. If Gibbs loses I'm not going to cry myself to sleep over it, but I'm sure if you lose you'll crap your pants and talk about how many teams you blew out this year. In closing, When you have 2 teams in your region who every year for almost 2 decades have been in the State playoff race you try not to schedule big games outside of your region.

Winters plays in a district with d's who can't compete with the skill players who are around him. If you look at Fulton in the past their QB's have been much better. And I never said we had a lock down defense. We have a decent D who does well against the run. Outside skill players can hurt Gibbs. Your receivers should do well for sure. I didnt say they weren't fast enough to get to the QB either. I said they were tackled by the oline, not outran. You should have to throw more than 4 times as well. Conley will put 8 in the box before he lets you run all over him. And I'm sure your offense is good. But we've scored quite a few points ourselves.
