It unnerves me to think that certain people think that they can get by with anything, and dont have to follow rules. They blamed it on coaching and favortism here and now, what will the excuse be? If they want her at Elizabethton, then they need to put a for sale sign in their yard, and pick up and move it to Elizabethton legally. No it wont be an impact on either us or Eliz. unless someone tries to "ding" Eliz. for her "move"...lol. and then, Elizabethton's hard work will mean nothing because, again, they have tried to pull a fast one, and Elizabethton coaches or the girls wont know what hit them when they are disqualified. I sure as heck wouldnt appreciate it for my kids. PEOPLE...PLAY BY THE RULES....

That's what the Unicoi soph LM did, but it still isnt TSSAA ok. She still has her big fine home in Erwin... her hometown. not the rent the issue, it's the eligibility and until someone cracks down and starts looking into it, it'll keep happening.

Again, rumor has it during the Hall of fame, the alleged UC star didnt get off the varsity bench. Didnt look real thrilled. She's not all that.

Is that why the best sophomore left Unicoi to go to Elizabethton to sit the bench. I heard she got zero varsity time the whole weekend. Maybe she can find another illegal transfer next. As far as a diva? No, we have no controversy now that that"best sophomore" is gone. But again, if youre living in Elizabethton all the time like youre supposed to be, then why would you drive all the way to Erwin Walmart all the time. It does not make sense.

Why lock the thread? is it true or fals?Maybe they need to drive over here to Erwin and investigate a little and they will see, and I guess it would stop the threads and the forums. She isnt eligible. bottom line, end of story. do your homework. Im somebody who has grown up with the family. Everybody is talking about it. From our knowledge, she wasnt recruited, she (her parents) thought she wasnt getting enough playing time, so she split. thought she would do what that happy valley girl would do. they are on 2 different levels....

I heard Elizabethton lost a few from last year too. I guess all that practicing everybody is talking about made a few run. That little skinny point,backup that went to unaka hated itfrom what some of the kids in softball said. I think anyone can improove,and as far as us only having ten players, thats a good number. we have some good ones coming up. The prob with Science Hill and Eliz. is that dont use their bench much. not good if ya get a couple hurt or couple mad and quit, then u have people sitting on the bench. And, the whole jv and varsity thing. the ones they use on varsity alot should play very little if any jv. or the jv will have no experience.

I dont know about all of you on Coach T. out there, but how do you think Unicoi girls will do this year??? In my opinion, I think we have a chance to go to state. Our boys are doing well too. Does anyone know how any of the teams played in the tournament this weekend? I heard Hampton was pretty good. Did TN high dominate Elizabethton?? I was in Nashville for the big ut and vandy game, so I havent heard. GO DEVILS!!!

if you had any knowledge at all, you would know that Elizabethton coaches had nothing to do with the Unicoi dud. And, we were glad to get rid of the whole family. Now, if they would just officially move like theyre supposed to. I am sure the elizabethton coaches arent aware of her illegal residence. Just would be sad if the elizabethton girls got punished for something they arent aware of. Dont send her back our way. No one fights anymore...kind of nice. GOOD LUCK CYCLONES, HOPE SHE DOESNT RUIN IT FOR U GUYS. All these coaches are watching.

Has the new Unicoi transfer to Eliz shared with her new cyclone friends that she is illegal, and is jeopardizing her team. She does not have a bona fide change of residence per TSSAA. HER mom and dad seem to think she is the next Candace Parker. NOT. She grew and got awkward. She was a better player when she was short. They rented a cheap apartment in Eliz., and rarely stay there. They continue to live in a bigger than average home in Erwin where she lives across the street from her grandfather. Her dad works in Erwin, also her mother. They have no intention of being a resident of Elizabethton. Sad thing is all of these coaches are keeping tabs, and they are turning the team in at tourney time. Not fair to Eliz. girls. Mom, dad and girl always caused trouble with us, now, we are without all the controversy. Eliz. may want to check into her residence change. UNCOOL. if she was kara boling level, I might conceal it, but she is "not all that". Something her parents didnt want to hear. Oh well, let the chips fall where they may.
