Looking forward to a great game! Thanks to DTC Communications for webstreaming it! I may not make the whole game so it is nice to have an option if Travelling. I enjoyed the visit last year but it would have been nice to be in Beene for once. I know this will be tough but no one thought we would get to Cookeville last year & we did. Wayne County had a special team last year & beat us fair & square & we had a strong experienced team. This year we are young & if we give it all we have, I like our chances. Win or lose, Pirates will NOT quit! Let's go P!! It's the playoffs baby! It's what you practice for all year long. Leave it all out there on the field! Go P!!!

Pastry - I agree re: SP playing with great emotion. That is why I hope they can remain focused & determined to leave it all out there even IF Gordy scores first.

I found it interesting that a poster said they hoped Gordy could keep it's composure. I pray for that for SP. They need to lay it all out like Columbia did - but never give up - just like Columbia did not. Even after half-time - you would never have known they were down so much by their body language. They really just seemed to enjoy playing & they continued to help our guys up after hits. Now THAT takes class. I don't necessarily think we HAVE to do THAT, just not curse & get angry.

I think Gordy will be out for revenge. They love to play us - unlike some who dread it, they love it. As for SP - we ain't never scared.

Yes - experience matters. To stay calm & focused even when you get behind is a maturity thing. I hope we don't get behind & have to play catch up as that will demoralize our boys. They are young & will be up against a VERY mature team who won't make many mistakes. As David Wyatt says "Do what you do"....
