I have watched smyrna play for the last five years but only seen one alcoa game. from what saw today there is not much comparison on offense. alco is big a powerful and smyrna is smaller and fast with some powere as some one said in a previous post. the main diff is bryson. i have never seen anyone who has a similar running style. we have about 5 very effective backs that are very unique. i have never seen maryville play but do not take them lightly. since this is maryvilles third trip in a row to the blue cross bowl i would have to say the dogs are the underdog....

Didnt say you were exposed in the playoffs. i said you got exposed in the championship games in the last "two" years.at least try reading the stuf that you highlite. touchy ! touchy !

they also dont have the #1 tackel in the state playing tonite. what beat smyrna was 3 turnovers. cant do that against ensworth or maryville and win!

Smyrna is losing about 30 seniors (some starters some not ) so i agree it will be hard for them to get back next yr,but, i dont totally count them out. i think, and this is my personal opinion which i think i am allowed to have ,the reason people bring up the maryville's so called "soft" schedule is that a soft schedule will get you to the dance .when you get there yr opponent can expose you. which is evident with the past two years championship loses. this is not talking bad about maryville as a team (they have a good chance to win saturday) this is just talking about their schedule.
