There's some good AAU teams in Chattanooga - look for Chattanooga Steam or ChattTown Elite. -

There's also a 6'6" 8th grader on Signal Mountain - had knee surgery, I think, but is playing now for the HS JV team. -
No one has mentioned Miss Basketball yet. So, I will start. Sydni Abbajay and Andi Abbajay (twins) from Signal Mountain are two of the best athletes I have seen. Not only highest scorers in Lady Eagle Basketball, but also killed it on the Volleyball court - winning the State Championship. Sydni also won homecoming queen as well - all around very liked young lady with alot of potential to go far in whatever sport she chooses.

Well Hogan Whitmire, QB, from SMMHS should be getting some offers this year. He had a great season! While waiting on semifinal game - saw another one I think deserves some attention for 2012. Oak Ridge QB, Zulliger, had some phenomenal plays this year. Looks like they had a young team, but maybe next season, it will payoff. Interested to see how Zulliger does next year.
