Coach Troy at Mt. Juliet - Guy takes alot of talent and does an excellent job of making it all mesh Coach Bontrager at Father Ryan - No coach does more with less. Back to back final fours and defensive guru Coach Anglin at MBA - Great with the x's and o's. Just a good man in general Coach Buell at Seymour - Just moved from Carter, but knows the game inside and out Coach Blevins at Beardon - Consistently molds tons of talent to fit his system

im with you those two are the two best recruiters in the state and its ridiculous what they get away with

And by the way just to get back to the topic of the board i really hope husband does not get fired. I am not saying he deserves not to but he is a good man and the kind of man you want to be around your kids everyday. He knows what he is doing. and i still believe he can get the program going again. you cant blame ba if they let him go though

First off i did not say ricky was a bad coach just a good recruiter. Its obvious the man can coach there is no denying that. What i am saying is that he wins with superior talent. The only teams that could match his talent were macallie and briarcrest. Its his superior players and depth that allow him to win so often. His 7 though 10 would start for most teams in the league there is no denying that. Also, the fact that you say he could win coaching any team is a joke of a statement and absolutely preposterous. If you really believe that you know nothing about basketball. in my opinion ricky is not even the best coach in the league. he is third behind bontrager and anglin. Bontrager can flat coach. he is the best coach in this league. if you saw the team he took to the state semifinals you know that their talent was nowhere near close to that of the other three teams. the man is a basketball genus. His teams player harder than anyone else's. if he had the talent ricky does he would be winning every other year also. Anglin is the same way. He is smart and a great game planner. His kids are very tough and that comes from him. Ricky falls behind these two in my book. Yes he has more wins and titles, but put these two in charge of the talent he has and they would be winning every year. I know for a FACT that every other coach in the league cheers against bowers every chance they get. You can say it is out of jealousy but truth is it is because of the way he does things. once again i want to clarify i think ricky is a good coach he is just an even better recruiter. i am not trying to start anything with this post i am just putting the opinion of almost everyone else in the league out there. Stop giving the man so much credit you have to have good players to win period and he always has the best.

Personally I see this league being hard to win for any coach as long as ricky continues to recruit like he does.

Now that the final four our set, with some surprises(Father Ryan and Baylor) how do you see it working out from here?

yes it is a rule a stupid one but it is. got one called on me playoffs freshman year with under a minute to go in a two point game. most times i think its a case of a ref trying to over assert himself

I know the father ryan irish are struggling this year but i have been to a couple of practices and this man is one of the best high school coaches in the nation. no one gets more with less

I agree i heard briarcrest cant shoot at all, but they have two huge guys. Are their big guys good enough to beat ryan?

I agree with all the predictions but i dont see baylor contending with ensworth. Ryan can beat briarcrest, but they have not played well in their other two games they had to travel.

I have experience playing ravenwood and i have to say this is very believable. there is nothing wrong with being a little dirty, but they are always taking things to a different level

Anglin and bontrager are the best two private coaches. I dont know much about public but in my opinion it would be the guy from hillsboro and Mt. Juliet

No but they apply most of their financial aid to good athletes while other schools apply it to all students.

You can give financial aid but it is not supposed to be tailored just for athletes which is how ensworth does it.

Bontrager is the best private period. No one gets more out of his players with less. If he recruited like ricky he would be winning state titles year in and year out. Good coach and great person. Ensworth fans can say what they want but everyone knows ricky recruits
