At TGI Friday's...and the lady in the booth next to us is raising cain because they won't serve her an alcoholic beverage without ID. Really, lady??? Smh....

Thought I would try some MIO water flavoring today. I don't do soft drinks, or sweetened drinks. I drink water, unsweetened coffee or tea, and sometimes fruit juice that has been mixed half and half with water. So I thought the MIO might be a nice change every now and then. Past experiences with other serving size water flavorings taught me to try the lemonade flavor first. I am disappointed. It's way too sweet. Sucks when lemonade is too sweet to drink...

Exhausted.... Gotta rest a bit before I can sleep. Isn't that funny? But, no matter. I'd go thru it all again for my family. Much love and prayers to Mr. Horace Curtis, Angie Lyons, Keith Curtis, Jamie Curtis, Ben Lyons, Bryson Lyons, Kaley Glass, Ali Helson, and Taylor Potts. Ugh. Been a fun night tonight. Kristin's purse was stolen, so we've learned how to: cancel a debit card, replace a drivers license, replace a social security card, attach a fraud alert to her credit report, request a free credit report from all 3 agencies so we can make certain there's no activity or identity theft, and replace an insurance card. Whew! It's been a chore...

The UT-Oklahoma game is a nailbiter... 0-0, top of 7th and UT up to bat. Come on Lady Vols, bring that championship home!

Our guest bath remodel... We're just about ready to rip the old one out and put the new one in, I'm so excited!

Our AC is out again. Being worked on right now. We've had to have the windows open day and night for cool air, and my allergies have kicked in with a vengeance, ugh... Hope to get it working today so I can close the windows!

Took the day off work. Desperately needed a me day. Went to David Crockett State Park to eat lunch with Kristin. Got some really nice pictures at the lake.

Sad that there cannot be any representation here for the Summertown Eagles (32-7 record, ranked in the top 6 of the state in Class A). A team full of great, talented players, but no seniors. Next season, we'll own this list...

Yep! We're really proud of the team. No seniors and just 5 juniors. Several freshmen and sophomores either start or see a lot of playing time. They definitely performed better than expected this year. I predict that next year, it'll be great to be a Summertown Eagle and Summertown Eagle fan....
