  1. As said before this could go on and on. I will stop wasting my time with it. "Get the beam out of your eye before you attempt to remove the speck in someone else's." I am not attached to Riverdale. I am however attached to another school in Rutherford County. I can say I would never attach myself or my duaghter to Blackman. Even tho your coach tried to gain that attachment. But I'm sure you could never beleave that either or even recognize the players he has been able to bring in to his program the last few years.
  2. All you have to do is walk up the steps between sections Q & R. They are all right there pattng themselves on the back. Poking and joking with each other as they watch the fine jobs they take turns at on the floor. Do you really think in this "GOOD OLE BOY" network you could really get an honest evaluation? Can't decide with old addage to thow out here..... three blind mice or blind leading the blind.
  3. I have read in other threads where people are labeled uncreditable because anothers opinion differs or they feel one writer does not know what he is talking about. Well, that is applicable here. ANYONE who says that the student section of Blackman High School did not BOO when the first Riverdale player was called out for the All District team; has ZERO credibility on any post they want to make. If they could not see or hear that; then what can they see. I was there and can tell you that the first Riverdale player was BOOED when the second was called the BOOS started again. The Sheriff/Police officer leaning on the wall next to the Blackman student section stepped over and ended the BOOS. Not a parent and not a School administrator to be found. This poo slinging can go on and on. Want things to change? Take care of your own house. Yes attendance has been up at the tournament thanks in large part to the fine folks from Cannon County. And if you were not able to see, they know how to BOO also!!
  4. A little confused by all the babble about children and their responsibilty to uphold the HIGH standards they see the adults around them set by their actions. I thought for a minute the chant that was being refered to was the one used at the end of "Remember the Titans". You know as the guys were saying good by to their good friend and a great competitor. On a more interesting note: Over heard some BM girls quip that they were glad it was over. "Sick of being around THAT coach. SAD! They had a impressive year.... as noted on their T-shirts
  5. Loretto up 20 with just under a minute left in game. WOW!!
  6. True that. I ask because of the first few lines of the initial post: Rick Bolus' High Potential® Basketball Recruiting Service, Inc. Girls ~ November 2010 Edition Including January-April 2011 Updates Tennessee’s Top Rising Prospects For 2010-2011
  7. Speaking as a person who in the past has been a part of this process; the majority of the names that make the list are a result of their high school coaches doing more that just trying to win games. It is the result of a coach that puts in the time to develop the relationships and connections to provide opportunities for their players beyond the confinds of their own gym! If you have problems with the names on and not on the list. Ask the coach of the player(s) what they REALLY know about it.
  8. Call me old fashion, but I always felt like people should fix their own problems before they fix someone elses. So Hank clean up all the F-Bombs your PLAYERS and COACH dropped all over the LaVergne floor then you can start working on the Riverdale Fans.
