Coach Rice is a terrific coach and has really helped out the Perry County football team. You wouldn't believe the improvements he's made since he's been here. If he does leave us, it will be a tragic loss to the football program and the school. I would wish him well though as the pay and potential in Mt. Pleasant are nearly too great for anyone in their right mind to turn down. Does anyone know his thoughts on the matter?

PC has a great team this year and is led by Gray, though there are several other key players. They are fun to watch and should win the district. Our rich history of state tourney play should continue and hopefully the boys will bring home the rings at the end of the year. Go Vikings!!

Our boys should be fine tonight returning nearly all starters from last year. As usual with Waverly, it will probably be a close one. Just keep up that Viking hustle and we will have a great year! Go VIKINGS!!

Count us in again this year. We have basically the same team with a new player at QB. We did well last year with only one team beating us, and that's going to change this year. Are there going to be new teams, new league owners, and new and improved rules? Has there already been a meeting? If there's no new teams I see us easily finishing no worse than second again, and probably winning it all depending on who the champions from last year adds/keeps. Also I doubt Cagle's team will be worth anything, they sure weren't last year! Our Rainey proved much better than their Rainey! LOL

As much as I hate to admit it, LC whipped us good last night. I wish them the best the rest of the year.

You've gotta be panthermans brother or sister with a crazy comment like that. Also everyone in PC is excited and confident they can beat the Panthers. I even heard today LC is so cocky they might not even start or play their "superstar" QB Sharp. I hope they play him. We are ready to get him.

Wav #7, you can see why I think Pantherman is the biggest loser on here. He dogs everyone else while talking great about his team just to get in good with the girls at that school. He was a nobody in school and now tries to relive his high school days by pretending he's on the team. I can't wait to see him Friday after we win and reveal to him who I am by rubbing it in his face.

You will be wrong as usual come Friday night. You talk more trash than anyone on here and can't back it up. YOU are the worst fan! And lbblitz, you are gonna get ran all over Friday.

Reporter, their has been many times that the underdog has proven victorius over the favorite. No one thought David could beat Goliath. No one thought the colonists could beat the English. No one thought the Diamondbacks could beat the Yankees. No one thought the Patriats could beat the Rams. And now no one outside PC thinks they can beat LC. Well all the others suceded and now so will PC on Friday night. Mark my words!

Well, well, well. It's finally time for the mighty Vikings to take on the over-rated Panthers. I heard today my friends in Waverly took quite a beating from LC Friday so they should be overconfident and cocky for our game. Also if what I heard is true it's obvious Waverly either doesn't read Coach T, watch game film, or have a QB with an arm because they didn't attack LC with the pass. Well we definitely will. Also I hear the LC "superstar" QB was preparing for us by not wearing socks in last nights game. How you may ask? Well we are going to knock his socks off in the first quarter this coming week and now he knows what it'll be like without them. And Mr. Haney I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't cover for your beloved LC by deleting this "negative" post about them like you did mine about the Middle School game last week. Let's respect everyone's right to free speech and privilege to post on Coach T if it isn't vulgar, Don.

That sounds great to me and the boys here in PC. We were talking to Bubba Bell about starting one down here and he said you were starting one up there again, but not with Paul. Who's gonna be in charge, are the rules the same? Give us some more info but count us in.

PC has definetly had a rough time this year but we are improving after everygame and that's what is important at this stage in our program. Our guys are showing lots of heart and I look to get a win this Friday. Just hang in there and don't stop losing hope and continue to support our boys!

Looks like LC finally met their match. I am surprised donhaney and imasoftballer aren't on here crying about the refs or something. After hearing about this game and how the Panthers played I can't wait for our shot at them. We will definitely have that game tape and see how to shut them down. There is good chance they won't even have a winning record when they get to us by what I saw on their schedule. I know, neither will we but we are just starting our program. Also I'd also like to know what all the hype is about Daily and Sharp. Obviously Daily can run thru an open hole in the line, but so could anyone that has legs. I heard he hasn't broken a tackle all year. And you all claim Sharp is the best Quarterback in 2A, well what exactly makes a great QB? From what I hear from those who've seen you play, he has a strong arm but is inaccurate. I guess that's why you guys only hand if off up the middle nearly everytime. Sure he may bench 400 pounds but what does that get him? I heard he doesn't even play defense because he's soft and can't handle getting hit or hitting someone hard. And if he's so quick why not put him at tailback or wideout. Surely he's not the only player who can hand a ball off at LC. Please help me understand why he's so good. A final thought is that PC will definetly be passing on LC because we hear their secondary is horrible. They can't read passes or are quick enough to stop opposing recievers. They've proved that this past Friday from what I heard. Pantherman, give me an amen.

Perry County is scared of noone. We'd play Brentwood Academy if we had to. We are just looking to play more schools in our region is why we are stopping play against LC. However I know why LC is having a difficult time finding teams to play. They aren't asking the bigger and better schools in their division. They ask the Mt. Pleasants and Moore County's and Perry County's, all single A schools. Why not play up to the competition instead of down to it. That's why you never make it past the second round. And pantherman, I didn't even know you or your family played football. And if you did I know it was only the third string or B-team that you are making fun of in most of your statements. Don't knock your roots from where you're from. You were a third stringer too, and I know you couldn't ever make it on our team, even as a third stringer.

LC got lucky Friday against overrated Harpeth. Crybaby softballer you are wrong from what I hear. The calls were legit and should have been called. Panthers your way to DC Friday as you head through Perry County pay attention to the little town as they are ready and waiting to get their shot at LC. I'm counting down the weeks til it's us versus ya'll. Sure we're not at your level yet but not far behind either. We will be ready for you all.

You gotta be kidding. The coach of LC has banned the players from CoachT? What??? Typical LC. If the coach is so mad about people criticizing the players HE shouldn't read CoachT. I can't imagine the great Coach Slatten keeping his players off CoachT...and he went thru some really rough times in his last coaching position. It's ashamed the LC coach can't take constructive criticism like Slatten can. And when it does get really negative, just ignore it. Now the players are gonna have to create new userids to get on here and make posts about themselves and basketball. I hope this is isolated and no other schools take this foolish step, you better believe we won't here in PC.

Perry County has been looking great from what I've seen and heard. They are rapidly progressing and should have a great year.

What ever happened to the great running back Benji Rainey from Lewis County. He was a great softball player also and baseball player. The last I heard he was joining the Navy. Is he still enlisted? Did he play football or baseball in the Navy?
