Thier offense must get a lot of rest. With the defense scoring in bunches and going for it on fourth down. Looking to mark that game as a must see.

My question is how many rushing yards did the Blackman QB get either of those nights? I don't know for sure but my guess would be on the minus side. With those lead boots, he more times than not folded to the ground. Point being, if number four goes down this year and Blackman will need more than a QB with a wind-up like the young girl playing right field for a rec. league softball team. Is there a back-up QB with any up side?

Graduation hit Kaoke girl pretty hard last year. She may be a little young this year, but by mid-season she should be belting out the standard Bon Jovi and Journey tunes.

will Blackman's QB Strickland wear cleats this year or will he stick to those lead boots he wore last year. Hopes are if Blackman gets comfortable in any games this year a back-up will get some rep's. Or will Shad be content with running the ball and not letting the QB throw.

All this will come out with the wash. Later this year when S/Mnt. comes to Rutherford County to play Blackman. S/Mnt. will be fighting for every yard. Blackman will smear those chumps.

Got the nickname “Shag†in grade school because some kid said that was the “real†name of Shaggie on Scooby Do. Grew up a “military brat†and changed schools a ton. Shag was always better at school than Norville. I heard at work that a couple of years ago the Blackman School got a new head coach. The rumor I heard is that the athletic department was several thousand dollars in the red. The boosters had been working hard for years to build a field house and poof the funds were gone. Just seems to me that he is willing to spread the blame around. Like my Mom always said - "If everyone set thier hair on fire and ran down the street naked, would you do it?" The article in the DNJ was not about other schools, it was about Riverdale. When other school's boosters are exposed then we all can spread it around. If LOD would like to give names and dates then I'll listen. Until then it is just hot air. To me LOD likes to have things both ways. My quess he was a goverment employee for too long. Everyone knows that the goverment employees can't fix anything all they do is place blame. ie: the currrent budget talks. Just saying.

Just read the artical in the DNJ - "Comptroller finds problems with Riverdale QB Club" Looks like some folks need to go back to school and attend some business ethics classes.

Glad to see that the Riverdale vs Blackman game is on TV. Maybe that will keep some home and I can find a seat. Otherwise they will need a shoe horn.

That is my point MKD! I am not a Bulldog fan. But when you go to Smyrna you see the road signs about thier two State Chanpionships and every other redneck wears Bulldog swag. All they do is cry. I have zero kids at Blackman, but yesterday I purchased 6 tickets for a car wash for the Blackman Blasketball team. (Saturday June 25 8:00 - Noon @ O'Reilly Auto Parts in front of Krogers.) I don't have six cars but was happy to see the guys out trying to better thier program.
