I agree every team in that district has stepped it up since the begining of the season, but I would feel more comfortable with that "maybe" behind MJ. Since LaVergne and Lebanon have beat MJ last week. I dont know if their late night practice helped or not. If I were a betting person then I would have to put my money on Wilson Central. Lady Cats all the way!

Enjoyed the tournament, but as in everything there could be improvements. A few suggestions for next year would be to make sure the fields are properly set up and maintained for the games (ex. pitching rubber at proper footage, correct size for batter's box and pitcher circle, and maintanence in between games)and also that ALL umpires are on the same page with the rules set up for the tournament. I know we were cut short on time in one game and it was a close game where 6 minutes could have made a difference. A direct quote from an umpire was "well, we are playing an hour 10 regardless of what the paper says". Other than that, we enjoyed our time and were happy to play against some fine teams.

MJ got beat by WC in district play...guess you forgot about WC who is now 3-0 in district play!
