Heck no space, I had to drag Vance to my grandmothers funeral kicking and screaming back in May because he was gona miss speed training and practice. He's problally in school thinking about Minga and the rest of the receivers. Hey govols, it was either vacation or get a divorce. Someone please find a place I can watch or listen to this game. 92, with 11:21 left in the 4th it was 28 21 CAK. We had scored two in a row and started slowing CAK down a little. Momenteom was on our side. Then the lightning delay just took everythig away again. youth reared its ugly head once again and thats when CAK stretched the score out. No excuses, we had our chance to come out and finish the job. We just didnt. Give it up to CAK again for playing a good game and taking it to the MAVS. HOOK EM' HORNS GO AC!!!!!!

92, we do practice against a passing offence. Thats not just any offence they seen Thursday. I think it was up in the air how this young bunch was going to respond. They would give a long drive up and then another turnover and they were right back out there. They were on the feild too much for their first outing. We'll get it fixed though, dont you worry dragon. Im sure the Mavs and the Dragons will be firing on all cylinders by Oct 28. I know the 22 will get it fixed, he said he never seen such disciplened route running before. You cant beat anybody with 7 to's, period. Offence moved the ball well, we also had over 400 yds of offence, just kept turning it over. That will get better, I hope. As for the defence. we have a long way to go. We have to get out of the 3 man front, no pressure at all. Lot of work to do on pass coverage and 1 on 1. With 2 sophomores at corner the whole 2nd half, that certainly didnt improve. The 22 got picked on in his debut, but he will learn from it. Not the best match up to start your high school career as a very young cornerback. He'll make up for that. Best thing he done all night was a couple of decent kick off returns. Ive seen both teams in action. AC a little more of course. Neither team will be in mid-season form because of youth and inexperiance. I think its a toss up. Close game, down to the wire. I still say AC barely in a very close one. HOOK EM' HORNS GO MAVERICKS!!!!!!!

Coach Gilliam walked his team up the track to set in the stands and watch the 1st half before he got his team ready to play. Thats it!!! Im sure he wanted a look at CC and Clinton, we do play both of those teams this year. It was problally rehearsed to make it to there seat and watch the other teams before they started. Thats it!!!!! Sorry about that Amos, I dont remember the West JVs scoring. Not saying they didnt, just dont recall it. The only reason I counted our JV score is because I seen a ton of West 1st teamers mixed in as well. Glad to hear your starters set down after the 1st 2 series because thats when our defence looked the strongest. West frosh. are loaded, no doubt. Our frosh offence is not clicking and in the frosh. defence. We are trying to platoon the defensive side of the ball. We are not good enough to do that. That was not our best 11 frosh on defence. We have no choice at the 5a level. We have about 70 to 90 kids on our team a year. 20 t0 25 of them are good enough to compete and win at the Friday night Varsity level. 8 to 10 that play both ways, with 10 or 15 that rotate and play special teams. HOOK EM'HORNS GO ANDERSON COUNTY!!!!!!!

AC West scrimmage. Played game situation except for kick offs and punts we're not live. West 20 AC 14. We had a chance to tie or win by 1 with 26 seconds to go. Came up short on 4th and goal from the 9 yard line. Still got some work to do and some things to shore up, but looked better over all from the Fulton scrimmage last week. Even though we came up on the short end of the stick. HOOK EM' HORNS GO AC!!!!!!!

Hey Tad, lets reserve judgement on teams until well into the schedule. AC is also very young and still sorting out some posistions on both sides of the ball. AC drove the ball deep in falcon territory several times also and had to flip the feild because they we're 10 plays a piece. The score could've been much different in either direction. I agree with you, fulton's got speed but dont they always have speed. Lets wait and see if these young teams can tie up some loose ends before we say a program is taking a down year approach on the future. I think both teams have work to do coming off a 3 td a piece tie. HOOK EM' HORNS GO MAVERICKS!!!!!!
