Hey guys, I would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support for the AC5. My son was in the wreck, he was released from the hospital yesterday. Another child involved was released the evening of the wreck. Please continue to pray for the other 3 and their families. Again thank everyone, god bless you all. No doubt, a disappointing season in 2011. Hey smart guy, Powell destroyed everyone except Henry co. The 1A team your refering to is 2A I think. They went undefeated and beat the 2A state champion. You asked how the lizards would do and I replied. The lizards will continue to stink in 2012. Take it slow pride, just try to hope for a single victory next year. They are both very good qbs. Dont know which one will grade out best. To say that charlie is not in the same league with patton, I do not agree with. I agree with the last post, if charlie grows 3 or 4 inches. The sky is the limit. The dude is lazor accurate, he can make all the throws, and he is brillant on the football feild. Ac will be all jr and sr next year. 85 percent of these guys started 11 games. The other 15 percent played alot. A few sophmores, but not the 9 that started last year. Yes, SS we were pretty bad. Watched the game in its entirety, total domination of a very good Milan team. Ooltewah players and coaches make sure you bring a couple of strong boxes to lock your valuables in at Powell. The same thing also happened when Campbell county visited Powell. No wonder Mobley was suspended for the 1st round last year. These team is full of career criminals. Dont expect a handshake win or lose when you play the Powell Thugs and Theives. Yes, the score was not what we we're loking for. I graduating from Powell (1990) and was going to pull for the panthers through the play-offs. If that football cant shake a mans hand at mid-feild win or lose then they dont deserve a state title. Then to find out they stole everything in the visitors locker room that wasnt bolted down. This game is on the kids. The coaches will come up with a gameplan, but if we dont exacute it wont matter. We have to be more than solid on defence, but the key is to run the ball all night, control the clock and keep Powell's TD waiting to happen off the feild. I dont mean just Mobley, I mean their whole offensive unit. Its 6 points waiting to happen every time they step on the feild. We have to limit their time of play or it wont matter. Simple as that. HOOK EM'HORNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, we got to do this again? Oh well when your an 8 seed, any game is gona be tough. We've come out of no where the last 2 years when nobody give us a chance. Just another oppertunity, thats all you can ask for? Livingston Academy was 5-5 when they started play-offs in 05' and won it all. Maybe we can make some more noise? Here I am, just been watching the tape I recorded of the game with Vance. We always watch it a few times and discuss his play and the game. Im very proud ot the 22 tonight. Big punt return to the 6yd line to set up a score, a pick late to set up another, 4 solo tackles, 4 or 5 assists, and 1 catch for 7yds on his only offencive play. The 22 ended up leading the team in INTs with 4, started all 10 games as a sophomore. Game was way yander too close, give it up for the dragons. They came to play. Another great game in a very chippy rivalry. Im so glad they didnt call the 25's number on the 2point conversion. Again, alot of credit to Clinton. What a game! HOOK EM' HORNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It doesnt get any better than high school football. There isnt much I dont like about it. A few favorites are watching my son and all his friends play the game that they have grown up playing together. The same kids I helped coach in Rec. league when they were so little they could barely stand up in all those pads, LOL. Now they are out there on the feild carrying their school, classmates, parents and community on their back to a victory and sometimes defeat. The band, the cheerleaders, the fans, the friends. Buying my season pass every year. Going to watch every single practice I can get to. The spring game, and passing league. Going to the concession stand at halftime and getting a dog and a coke. Taking over shoneys after the game and getting the breakfast bar with 50 to 100 other Mavericks. Coming home with my son at midnight and watching the game I just recorded and he just played in like neither 1 of us was even there. I could go on all night, but thats enough for now.
