  1. Agreed But you know if we keep it up we may just hit 100 pages by Friday night. That is impressive even by Washington standards.
  2. How to get to the stadium coming from Mckenzie?
  3. I have very seldom told someone I told you so. In this case, I am going to make an exception and really enjoy doing it.
  4. No one has held Huntingdon under 21 points all year. PC's defense is easily the 4th or 5th best defense we have seen all year.
  5. I picked the top 3 based on overall record. The numbers looked better for PC that way. I wish I could live in a dream state all the time. You honestly have no clue what is about to hit ya'll Friday night.
  6. I was just looking at regular season top 3. Camden, Dresden, and Milan would all beat CA, Forrest, Jo Byrns, as well as PC. WC would be different. I think they would beat all but Milan.
  7. Your opinion. That and a dollar will get you a coke at McDonald's. Lets just look at what happened against the best 3 teams on each teams schedule. Overall record of best 3 on Huntingdon's schedule is 26-4. PC's best 3 is 25-5. Top 3 on Huntingdon's schedule averaged giving up 15.8 points. PC's top 3 16.6. Huntingdon went 3-0 and averaged scoring 31.3 points. PC went 2-1 and averaged scoring 23.6 points. We can go back and forth all day. The numbers are there. In every category, with the exception of passing yards, Huntingdon will win. I am willing to say your right if PC is closer than 10 points Friday night. You willing to say I am right if PC gets beat by over 10?
  8. Huntingdon played 6 teams that averaged giving up less than 20 points. PC played 3 that did. I am not saying we were playing world beaters every week. There is an obvious difference in the competition between the two teams.
  9. Those are the bottom 7 teams we played. The combined record of those teams is 33-37. The combined record of the bottom 7 teams PC played is 23-47. All 7 of the teams you listed made the playoffs. Only 3 of the bottom 7 teams that PC played made the playoffs. I won't say these teams as a group were stiff competition. However, it was still better competition than PC played all year.
  10. So if Tucker passes for 200 yards, Warbritton runs for 100, and Huntingdon wins by 20 who deserves to the Mr. Football back? In that case Tucker has better numbers but not the win. Flip side of that: what if Warbrittion has 200 yards but Huntingdon loses. Numbers are not everything. I will give Tucker props, he is VERY good. He may be the most deserving because of his entire career. He may be putting good numbers up because the competition he is playing against is weak. I know your going to say I am trying to take away from Tucker, but that is not the case. My whole point is numbers are relative. There is not a good way to make a comparison between players based off of numbers. To me both of these players are vitally important to their respective teams. If either one of them was out of the lineup, that team would struggle to win. Huntingdon would be in much better shape to win than PC in that situation. One could make a convincing argument that Tucker is a more important player because of that. However, one could also say that if Warbritton had less around him his numbers would be a lot higher this year. Like I said earlier, it is a popularity contest.

  12. Wow, ya'lls gym is 30 minutes from your school?
  13. I think he will win Mr. Football and quite honestly based on numbers he should. The competition is a popularity contest and there are a bunch of voters who will vote that have never seen him play.
  14. Thought I would go ahead and give you some for after Friday night. Here are the top 3. "We need to learn how to stop the run" "We need to learn how to stop the run" "We need to learn how to stop the run"
  15. First off, Huntingdon very seldom has more than 7 in the box. Occasionally will blitz a safety or corner. My point from earlier about Tucker scrambling is a direct result of pass defense. If he is having to scramble, like he did against WC, because the pass receiver is not open, PC is in trouble. The occasional run is one thing, I am referring to having to because the passing game has been shut down.
  16. Yes, I believe that Tucker is forced to scramble it can get ugly for PC. If PC is forced to run for whatever reason, Huntingdon will win this game going away.
  17. I will agree completely with what your saying. I think all of the PC posters on here are agreeing as well that WC is the best offense and defense they have seen this year. If you look at what WC has done so far this year, they are averaging 39 points on offense and giving up 11.4 on defense. Huntingdon is averaging 37.5 points on offense and giving up 8.5 on defense. Anyone that looks at schedules can see very quickly that the quality of opponents for Huntingdon is above that of WC. What does all of that mean? Absolutely nothing. Football games are all about matchups and this one is no different. I think there are 2 key matchups in this game. 1) PC defense against the run. PC has a GLARING weakness of being able to stop a running game. You can say what you want but Huntingdon's run game is VERY good. The offense will literally pound on you all night long. If PC is unable to force Huntingdon into punting early in this game, they will be wore out by the 4th quarter. Huntingdon will occasionally break a long play but most of the time it is just methodical moving down the field. There is nothing fancy about this offense but if you gamble on defense and guess wrong it will be a long run or touchdown. 2) Huntingdon's pass defense against PC passing attack. I will be the first to say that Huntingdon has not seen a team that likes to pass as much as PC since Mckenzie had Drew Hayes. I don't think he ever won a game against Huntingdon. I believe PC has a legitimate shot of moving the ball up and down the field all night. However, the question is can they put it in the endzone. Based on past history, we will probably run zone or soft man until PC gets close to the endzone. If the defensive line for Huntingdon gets penetration and causes Tucker to scramble, this game can get ugly. If PC is able to have sustained drives and score, this game could be interesting.
  18. I really don't think anyone from Huntingdon hates you. Heck, I even have a bet with you that may have one of us leaving Coacht I don't hate you. I just think you have been sheltered in your district thinking that PC is a great power. Huntingdon has been doing this for YEARS and will be doing it for YEARS to come. The last few years you have not heard any Huntingdon fans saying anything about what was going to happen in the playoffs. Why? We know when a team is playing well and when they are not. If by some strange set of circumstances, PC pulls off a win, I will be back and tell you I am wrong. There are no sure things in football, that is why you play the games. The two years prior to Huntingdon winning a state title we were put out in the first round by teams we should have beat. Don't forget we still have a little bet going on for this season.
  19. No one knows the answer to that question. We were trailing at half against Milan but only 13-7. PC will have to be up by two scores and have been doing a pretty good job of stopping us for the offense to change.
  20. IMO the misdirection offense you will see Friday night will be as good or better than the one you saw at WC.
  21. There are a select few from every school that get a little carried away. I don't really think most people believe that the handful of folks that do that are representative of the fan base of a school. If EVERY poster from Huntingdon on Coacht said that we were going to win a championship it would still only be a very very small number of the fan base. I firmly believe that Huntingdon has and continues to be one of the most hospitable and respectful venues for a visiting team to play.
  22. Well I am curious if some folks can actually talk football. Who does PC fans consider the best offense and defense ya'll have seen this year? I know PC fans were talking throughout the year that they had the best defense in 1A. Give reasons as to who your picking as the best defense you have seen. The same for the offenses.
