  1. Blackman will be looking for revenge after last night's loss to Siegel. District 7AAA is on a whole different level, not matter which team you play. Blackman takes this one by 35...at least. I'tavius Mathers's over/under: 250 yds. And that's after he comes out early and his brother, Dee, takes over. Show 'em how it's done, Blaze!
  2. I must say I'm impressed. The rumor has been that Siegal is the real deal. I guess I need to go see for myself! Congrats to Siegel. You gotta love 7AAA football!
  3. First time I've watched my Alma Mater Tigers play in about 4 years. They came and played a little closer to my home now so I was able to make it and glad I did. Super impressed with their discipline and work ethic. Looks like they have a bright future. The Manning kid was very impressive with his ball-catching ability and Grace is a good football player. Looks like the run blocking is lacking. MC looked to be bigger than GP up front but still couldn't make the holes for the rb's. On the other hand, pass protection was good. And now for the defense. I'm not sure if they are young and inexperienced or what but they sure didn't show up. Granted, GP has some great athletes at the skill positions but every time they touched the ball there wasn't anyone within 10 yards of them and you couldn't give those boys with that speed that much room. GP didn't have much of a defense to speak of either. I'd like to know the final stats on Grace to Manning if anyone has them. All in all I'm very proud of my Tigers and thoroughly enjoyed every snap tonight. Just wish we picked up one more yard. I look forward to the next opportunity to see them play. GO TIGERS!! P.S. Sorry if I offend anyone but the Macon band was an embarassment.
  4. I think Riverdale has the better team by far but Smyrna won't go down easy. It'll be a good one with Riverdale coming out on top.
  5. Lafayette rednecks?...Aren't you from Hartsville? Oh well, thanks for the support!
  6. Congrats Warriors on a great win! Way to represet Tennessee and 7AAA!
  7. Wish I lived a bit closer so I could make it there to see this one. I hope it's a good close game and a safe one. My biased prediction: Macon 24 Trousdale 21
  8. Here's to hoping Riverdale can bring back a 'W' to Tennessee and Rutherford County!!!
  9. Maybe "snoball" is a metaphor after all!!
  10. I'm new to this, so bare with me... I'm a relocated Macon alumn so I'm out of the loop on everything locally. I must say I hope the players don't have the big head like some of the fans on here do after beating what seems to be a mediocre Joe Byrns team last week. TC played KYs equivalent to TNs Riverdale last week and got beat...badly. That isn't much to gauge them by. They obviously played a much better team. They are still TC and will be even more motivated coming in to Lafayette after last week's loss. Maybe Pemberton will keep the team focused and level-headed and show up this Friday, execute and come up with a W. It's hard to imagine a Trousdale team start 0-2 but I hope it happens. GOOD LUCK TIGERS!!!
  11. I was at the game tonight and must say I was disappointed. I went expecting to see Blackman run away with this one. Hats off to Indy for a hard fought game. They kept Mathers in check the entire night except for one play. They were one missed tackle away from upsetting Blackman. Blackman had a rude awakening tonight. I hope they get it all straightened out before regional play begins. That being said, congrats on the win guys!
