Heard both boys could be back before season ends. That's really good news for the Lion faithful. If we can hang on until they come back we should be alright.

Keep up the hard work boys. We believe you can all step up and salvage a good season!!!!! Pretty good way to start the season off. Sucks losing the boys in the first game but they are tough and if their is anyway possible I'm sure they will be back before season is over !!!!!!

Dresden coming into this game wounded, we'll see who steps up this week. Was very impressed with the boys after our injuries took out two playmakers. Good luck to G.C. hope you get a win this year. Just not this week............

Also heard Westviews coach told the few (students) running their mouths while the injury was on the field to shut up and act right. Codo's to the coach. Like the duck said looks like our district will be tougher than ever. Dresden had the worse possible thing happen to them by losing the two we lost. Coaches did an outstanding job changing the game plan on the fly and I'm sure they will make the best with what we have left.

Think Huintingdon will win this game. Don't know much about Riverside but their QB is a stud. Google him and see all the teams looking at him. Think Alabama has already had the kid come down twice, UT is pretty hot after him also.

Most of your points I will agree with, Dresden has a huge target on their backs. If they can talk the talk they better be able to back it up. Personally I have no issue with players talking smack to players during a game, only time I have issues with it is when they want to talk to coaches or fans. If they cant back it up, kind of makes them look bad doesn't it?I was the first person to admit ripping peoples helmets off shouldn't be tolerated and it wasn't. The sport is violent enough without added risk of cheap shots. Don't worry Dresden will be ready for the Hoserstangs. I guess having kids on the "program" during weight lifting is acceptable behavior? Hope we dont see any roid rage on film like what happened in your locker room.

I really think this will be too close to call. I might be wrong and someone could get "Monkey Stomped" but I think its a seven point game either way.

Hope they can keep it up, this year will be a true test. They don't have much depth and we are already without our all state lineman for a game or two and possible the season. Younger kids will have to step up!!!!!!! About like you guys and Westview for that matter.

Don't think the Rebs will struggle as much as Dresden has a group of middle schoolers that are very special. We all know how that works out though. Our QB is supposed to move away and they will lose 6 or 7 kids because they dont want to work in High School. Hope it isnt the case because they really do have some talent right now.Good luck to both groups the rest of the year!!!!!

We ususlly get the no respect role. Guess you got it in Hoser County and we managed to get it in the rest of the state. Oh well something to tell the boys for motivation....

I was reading the Weakley County Press last night (yes, the same paper that has you 5th in the district) Didn't realize just how good you guys have been while Comer has been there. Pretty amazing stats, cant remember exactly but I think its like 167 wins to 37 losses. Congrats on that!!!!

Don't know how much you guys follow middle school but should be a good game tonight between Dresden and the Rebels at Reb house. Butchie you going? Duck?

He only shows up for one week (week 0 ) running his mouth about how unrespectful, dirty, cheap shoting the Lions are and then he is gone. Don't expect to hear anything from him after say week 3. It's amazing no one ever talks about Westview football on Coach T. They've got a good program with great atheletes over there (hate that I just said that) but I really don't understand why they don't have their own threads on here. I'm a devout Coaches Corner follower and enjoy listening to their coach talk about the games. Oh well, hope we as Butchie would say "monkey stomp" them Thursday.
