Nothing to talk about in Rebville...............

I'm thinking we will have a pretty good crowd but you cant really tell. The Lion Posse will make our crowd sound bigger for sure!!!!!! Been cleaning on my cowbell this week and train horn should be here in next week or two.

I'm sure the ones that might lose a starting job were the ones mouthing to the other kids. Dresden's depth is one of the major concerns I have with this years team. We can afford to lose any starters and would welcome anyone wanting to play for the Lions, yes even #40 from the Rebels..............

No way we would let him go to Tatertown!!! I was taking a shot at our school system leader who is from taterville. Not that he let the hog go but our numbers dropped and we lost three teachers. I could named five or six teachers they should've let go instead of him.

Pretty creative person I must admit. He was one of our coaches but thanks to the Lion hater tater heads at the superintendents office they did away with his position. Now he has moved on and is coaching at a rival school. We plan on kicking your butt also HOG!!!!!

No hard feelings from the Dresden faithful either. I'll be your biggest fan anytime you play except for week three. I thought it was pretty tacky for the coach to wear a UTM hat in Cookeville but he was wearing it to support his son, who was enrolled there at that time. His chioice not mine but I wont fault anyone for supporting their kids. wish more people would and we wouldn't need so many gob-ment checks passed out. Dont worry i know where you and Butchie hang out on game nights so I'll find you before and after the game week 3. If we weren't playing Friday I'd like to watch Onion City and the Rebs go at it. #7 in the state against the already crowned champs could get interesting.

The Hog is always watching over the Lion faithful. Actually, he has probably moved on and forgot about us. Thought I did see him cleaning up the highway with his striped crew the other day..............

I'm not the one who started the unsportsman like behavior topic. You started it with the why didnt you shake hands BS. Like I said before it was WRONG that the coach didnt let the boys shake hands after the game. I dont care how heated the game was after its over, its over and these boys need to take losing as part of the game and motivation toward the next game. Kids are kids and I'll be the first one on the field embarrassing my son and myself if I see him acting like a punk, and he knows this. On the other hand you want the kids fired up to the point that the coach needs to calm them down a little. Guess we need a happy medium. Rest assured our boys will be shaking hands after the game.

I can promise you this, the Lions will be fired up and ready for the week three match up. We are going through McKenzie like Sherman through Georgia!!!!!

You might as well call it a rivalry cause I dont see you monkey stomping anyone, especially the Lions!!!! Hoser. Believe me when I say all the B.S. about last year being a fluke is pretty motivating to this group of kids. Rev now your depressing me so we need to get your meds regulated to somewhere between Richard Simmons and Eeyore. Doubt if we could beat Henry County but I'm not ready to bow to the mighty Rebs either. The way I see it they lost as much as we did last year. Looking forward to seeing butchie, rebelyeller and duckman week three at the flagpole...... We'll bring the kool aid.......

Preach on brother Butchie...... The days of Dresden being a pushover are gone and I don't see them coming back anytime soon. McKenzie has been a powerhouse for years and we enjoy the rivalry also, and hope we can keep it a battle. Season is rapidly approaching and I wish the Rebels good luck each week, except week 3!!!! lol

You are correct it only takes one but we also have to understand that in the end these are just kids. Emotions run high and I'm not going to judge a kid by his reaction once after losing a game. Just like I don't think Dresden's team can be judged by the ex head coach not letting the team shake hands. One thing I know for sure Dresden's current coaching staff will do their best to kick other teams butts on the field but they wont stand for any shenanigans on or off the field. Granted our boys might talk a little smack, pound their chest (and pound QBs I hope) but that doesn't mean we don't respect they opposing teams. Just means we are excited about playing the game.Hosers? We will give you a good hosing week 3!!!!!!!!

Don't think the Dresden kids mouth anymore than any other teams that we play. If I remember correctly one of your players were yelling at our coaches and even pushed your principle. Will this be the same as last year? Even the FCA saints were running their mouths pretty good during the game. That's just part of the game, just like the old guy with the train horn. Last year after the handshake incident, I was the first person to respond on here to show my disgust at what happened. If you remember correctly our team went to the Rebel's locker room after the game, against the head coaches wishes, to shake hands, because they knew what was right. Football is a tough sport and I'm not a big fan of the mouthing either, but it seems like that is one way kids fire themselves up through the game. I can only speak for myself when I say Mckenzie and your friends south have been the class of the district for years and I respect that. On the same note we plan on knocking you guys out of that position. Just hope our teams stay injury free and you better be ready for week 3..................

Really doubt if we are setting our team up for disappointment, we know what kind of a bull’s-eye the Lions have on their backs. Hope the players realize that also, and when they do they will be better for it. If Adamsville, Mckenzie or Humboldt makes it further than Dresden I'll be the biggest fan they have. We are enjoying the success of the past three years and have big expectations for years to come. As far as acting like we've been here before, just what is that comment supposed mean? Are we not supposed support our kids? The only person beside Dresden fans that said we belonged in the championship game was Butchie (some well wishers from Adamsville also). Dresden had five kids win all state honors!! The beauty of each and every season is it only takes 1 win to move on, as FCS should be well aware of. Dresden might not have beat Adamsville or Humboldt two out of three games but they win the game that counted. Just like FCS might not beat Boyd or Dresden two out of three either. We will enjoy this season win or lose and support our team all season long no matter what. If I disrespected anyone please accept my humble apology. I really do enjoy stirring up the pot with FCA fans commander boy and Doyle though.

After watching the Rebs and Lions go at it this afternoon in 7 on 7 I might ought to be a little less vocal about our inbred brothers to the esat. We both looked pretty bad on defense. Maybe that's why the offense on both teams looked pretty good though.

Just saying no such thing as a good loser. Really sucked to lose against FCA but after finding out they pay the families to have their kids play for them eases the pain a little. Dont care who wins the 2A championship as long as it is a legit high school team without kids from chicago, penn or some jail in Texas. Glad your out of hiding Doyle. Did the royalities run out of slingblade and cut your internet off or what?

If my memory serves me correctly it was 3 passes which were 2 picks and an incomplete. The result was still 34 to 0 so that makes FCA the best paid team in 2A. Don't know if it was paying the pope, alexander campbell, gahndi or the ref from the Boyd game but somehow FCA put a wind curse on us. Think they also put a vodoo or satanic curse on our kicker's thinking and foot.

Not all Dresden fans were quite as excited as the Rev. When playing Trenton in spring ball our QB's had 1.5 seconds to get rid of the ball before getting their heads ripped from their torso. Like stated above when given 5 or 6 seconds our QB's are capable of great things but thats not how it normally works. Henry County will be fine, or so it looked to me.

Wow these are the exact conversations the Lion Posse have on a regular basis. Who's going to lead and who's going to be the angry helmet ripping off linebacker? Anytime you get ready to ship # 40 away, for any reason, just send him to Dresden. He single handedly beat us in middle school. After attending the crazy H school of defense he will make Ray Lewis nervous.
