This incident did indeed happen, can not understand why the parents of these kids that got hit will not stand up for their child, I do know that if u want to play u better keep ur mouth shut, not fair to be so scared of the administration! Plus I think there have been complaints to the school from there I have no idea. Good thing my child was not involved I would have gone off and made sure it was known. I don't know how I would feel continuing to coach? It's a bad situation all the way around . Kids shouldn't be scared and some of those seniors were 18, doesn't sound or look good. A million to one most of these boys told no one ,on top of that they were laughed at and called babies !

Yea Rumple its all your grandsons fault that Central lost all those games...Please people wake up,my son plays as well guess its his fault too bahahahaha. Grow up Guys please,and as for al the talk about the Seniors Last Hit its all true,but every boy on that team is either afraid they wont get to play or will be called a sissy all i can say is Thank God my son did not get hit,bc there would have been an assualt warrant taken out for the child who did it and one for the coaches that allowed and laughed and watched!

Sorry but that is absolutely terrible,we have gone beyond football playing,and I have never but Goodin down,just said he needs to try something new,but man you are sick,for saying something as miserable as you just did,we are talking about the death of a child,and money for his family...How dare you judge me over something so serious that is neither here nor there on this blog,you need to get over your grudge with me,just bc we don't agree doesn't really make you anymore right or better than me,just 2 different opinions,but you need to get a grip on yourself about judging my actions on serious matters of money raised for a young life that was lost.Shame on you, man!

Don't think I was talking about Goodin? I was talking things that make up the TEAM as a whole,yea the boys won Friday,so what does that have to do with my post? So are you saying in your post that the players have been the problem? Bc you just stated that it looked like the boys wanted to play, im assuming bc they won,so they haven't wanted to play all season until Fri.? And I know the score thx,and I am very proud,I hope it continues.I was talking about reasons some of the kids may be down or distancing themselves from Varsity and other players,and when I post this concern earlier, someone on here said they could take care of it all,please if you don't have anymore more concern to see that everyone is treated fairly off the field, don't comment!

Really you think all this controversy is over a ticket? No the ballteam isn't in a bad way bc of that,but when kids are left out or there's not enough to go around when it was said on here in a previous post,yea there's a problem somewhere,and yes that's what contributes to a disfunctional team...Just one of the things,ok.If all the concerned parents, people whoever on here would get a clue,there's more than just your kid being happy,all im trying to find out is were there enough tickets for every child? To me personally it is a big deal,it brings confusion and it makes some kids feel superior and some feel left out,no one is going to play or want to play for a team if at some point and time you feel unimportant,and yes I know your child cant be babied,so no one start there,but as a whole as a team off the field they should be treated equal...nuff said,if you don't get that then quit pretending you care!

Do you have the authority to address these problems? Not being a jerk,just asking if you have more authority than some 'ole Joe? And do you have the authority to fix it?

Not responding to self,just asking another question to go along with the one I ask before,bc im upset that people seem to know who everybody is,but I keep getting put down and called someone else,there are plenty of people who feel the ballteam is in dire straits not just me,just worried about kids and there emotional value with all this controversy, and as a matter of fact,I happen to like Coach Goodin.

Why would I try to discredit a program for kids? Im not a liar,and im not discrediting anyone,and anything that needs to be done, im sure I can do,and as a matter of fact my family has spent out alot for the team,im only stating what I have heard and been told,I heard straight from a childs mouth he did not get a ticket for the Vols game,and I was under the impression that there was enough for all,its makes these kids feel left out,that's what im worried about,the program has enough problems as is,none the less kids being turned down for team outings,so was there around 45 Tickets bought? Im not even sure how many kids are on the team,but if someone on here can tell me that there was enough tickets bought for all the players,then we need to look farther into this,someone give me a straight answer. Yes really,and to me that's a bit of a problem,and there are plenty of things that need to be addressed on this team,and a couple of kids have mentioned it,(about the coach)as well as them being told there was not enough tickets bought for all the kids to be able to go to the Vols game?how is that possible I know this for a fact,this I don't know for a fact, just over heard it, some kids were paying for tickets to go to the Vols game and one child was going to buy a ticket and was told there were no more? Is this "being" a team?and as far as telling who the coach is ....Yea right, but I was under the impression the tickets had all been pd.for? Does anyone know? Bc if there was tickets bought for the whole team,some didn't have a ticket? Were did there tickets go? Does anyone on here know or have any answers?
