From what I saw tonight MC is vastly improved on both sides of the ball, could have just been adrenaline from the rivalry. However, Wilson looks like he has them headed in the right direction.

If I'm not mistaken throwing for 1 TD and running for another 3 as a frosh on the creek bank is pretty special...now.

MC's frosh QB showed up big time at the creek bank tonight. Westmorland better recognize, not your typical freshman.

This game needs to be played. However, I don't really see how it can. EVERY coach had to know about the college player coming to practice. There is no excuse for that. So, IMO, no coach from this staff should be appointed interim. Unfortunately, that would mean the game being cancelled, but sometimes the loss of blood is too much to save the leg.

Can you give us some score updates from York's early games this season?

Honestly, it would be a tough game, not just because of Jaycee Coe. Jackson County looks solid nearly everywhere. Maybe size would hurt them, but they all knock down shots.

No way this game gets played Friday night. MC coach should be fired without question.

I watched both the Riverdale and the Jackson County game, and honestly I believe Jackson County could play with Riverdale, if not beat them. I know, Riverdale is one of the best teams in the state and for that matter the nation. However, Macon County was only down 7 to them at halftime. Be that as it may, could have been first game rust for Riverdale or Macon County was just playing well. Jackson County is good, very good. I do believe it would be a close contest.

Might be a tough year for MC this year. After watching the JC game its hard to say where the bulk of the scoring is going to come from, but man, what a team JC has this year. Best high school girls team I've seen. MC may just be a year or two from being where they need to be. They will be a tough outing for anyone though.

Jackson County wins against anyone, easily in my opinion. Goodpasture will win 8a, take it from someone who was in the same district as them and they always played Macon tough and even beat them at Goodpasture. None of the other teams in 8a would have came close.

Macon County took a pretty good beating against Jackson County. Man, what a team they have over there. Tigers will play tough through every game, just may be a year or two away.

Only way to describe Macon County is young, younger, and youngest, only 2 seniors on team, neither of which provide much scoring . They played Jackson County in a HOF game and beat them by 6-8 but had it stretched out to 15+ over the 1st three quarters but had some late turnovers. They were blown out by Riverdale but that was expected. MC will be a tough game this year because they have some young players that can really play. If other teams in this district are going to win it they better win it this year. MC is coming and will have a strong next 2-3 years.

All 20 people from the Hillsdale community will be making the walk to the Bank. This IS NOT the same TC team from last year. You don't see it until you look up and you're down 14 points. Trousdale always finds a way to win the big games on the creek bank, besides the FC game a couple years back when Kyle Wood put that Commander team on his back. This will be a good one. Macon County will be in the top 3. However, they lost a lot of scoring with the graduation of Gregory, Brooks, and Pryor. They will look for scoring from players like Driver and Shrum. Good to be back in the our old district! Look forward to catching some games!

Not necessary to have a great passing team when you put it down the other team's throat. TC is at its best when they pass it under 10 times a game.
