They scrimmaged I meant! Last Thursday at Tusculum! They began summer workouts this morning at 7am

Greeneville and Boone scrimmage Thursday!

Sorry no updates lately. Greene Devils scrimmaged Boone Thursday at Tusculum College. Greene Devils won 1-0 I'm pretty sure. I didn't see them score on first D. Offense started off fast but couldn't keep long drives going! Goode and Stewart both looked really good and young Quan Harrison looked really good! He is gonna surprise some people this year. The Daniel Boone Blazers are gonna surprise some people this year! They have a tough football team... Good luck to them!

Sorry I haven't been able to keep you posted Barb. But I saw the defense in action Friday! They had a lot of scrimmaging going on and the defense looks pretty good! They are still missing some kids from springs sports but they should be great this year! They have a new name too, the Hit Squad.. And trust me, they're hitting out there!

I stopped by practice today for a little while and I was pleased with what I saw!!! Greeneville has a lot of talent returning this year and I dont doubt it for one second that they wont make a deep run in the playoffs! They got some big ole boys popping pads out there! I saw them running Nic Wright and Rollins in the backfield along with Stewart! I didnt make it in time to see the defense but from what I hear, they will be just fine! Cant wait to see the Devils in action next Thursday against Boone!!!

I think Stewart will get the start.. Finchum is a heck of a QB but Stewart can beat ya deep and out run ya! Can't wait to see them put the pads on tomorrow!!

since the county schools will be absolutely GARBAGE this year, i doubt the coaches will recruit anyone from the county!

i think all of greenevilles defense should have been all county... everybody did their role in making this one of the toughest defenses in TN. I know the sports writers have to give the County some credit but i dont think any of the kids that made it would start on Gvilles defense... just my opinion

Just to get things straight... I'm pretty sure the thread says Maplewood vs Greeneville... not Grenneville vs County fans who argue cause they wish they could rout for the Devils... i mean seriously get off our jocks people... we know we talk trash but what else is there to do when ya'll come on here running that hog jaw of yours... We are the best and it obviously shows on fridays.. So go post on GCFootball for 2012 cause there isnt anything left to talk about in the county!!! As for this Saturday... i saw it will be close for the first 5 minutes... We should let all maplewood fans that you dont run on this defense.. it just doesnt happen. Vanlier is good but not good enough to run on this defense.. The SHARKS will def. be ready to eat those Kitty Cats up!!!

Greenevile will beat every county by 50+ next year... WG already lost its whole team with dalton. CD lost Julius and when has SG ever given us a test?? next year will be a very boring year in the BRAC...
