I've been sittin back watching all the smack talk in here all week. Some of you guys kill me. Let me start this by saying I AM a Huntingdon fan, and I DO expect the mustangs to win.
All I have heard from PC fans is if they play "their game" and basically play perfect, then it SHOULD be a good game. If your guys will have to play absolutely perfect, mistake-free football, I like our chances. You all refuse to give Huntingdon any credit at all. Give credit where credit is due. I'm going to mention this name again, but the Milan game was HUGE for us. Especially that second half. Milan could potentially win a state championship in 3A. I would say that is a good win for Mustang fans to hang their hats on. There was no one on PC's schedule that was in Milan's class other than maybe WC. And you guys got handled by them.
I'm not done yet. Some of the Mustang fans are writing big checks with their mouths on here. I don't believe this will be a 2 or 3 TD game.. It's going to be a brawl. Tucker is a heck of a player. And I have a lot of respect for the PC team. We are not looking past them at all. And if they pull out the win, I'm sure our fans, as well as myself, will be in here congratulating you guys and wishing you well in the next round. I just believe that Huntingdon has too many players that can beat you. We have more than just a QB. And with our D-line and the Warbritton brothers in the secondary, I feel like it will be a long night for PC.
Most of all, I just want to see some GOOD FOOTBALL tonight. We have all been waiting all week for this game. I've felt like an 8 year old waiting for Christmas. All this trash talking is great and all in good fun, but I hope each team brings their A game tonight and we settle this all on the field. Hope we see a hard-fought, injury-free game.
Oh yeah, and my prediction: Mustangs 21 - Vikings 13.
