baylor from what i have seen usually wrestles straight up but with the two teams best wrestlers(arguablely the best) (manson and will young) being in the same weight class, mccallie may try to trade a win for a win maybe hoping to come out with some more points, but i dont think it would work because jed hussain is pretty good himself, we may see those match ups in the dual meet but not in the individual state tournament, both teams look pretty even, should be a great dual match, extra points will most likely decide the match

looks like there is going to be alot of great match-ups possibly singh vs. whitaker joe young vs. bell will young vs. manson goss vs. doster cook vs. walker green vs. still i doubt all these match-ups will take place especially the ones from 130-145

theres been alot of talk about what mccallie's lineup will be...anyone want to take a guess at what baylor's lineup will be?

just wondering why did you say earlier i wont count on singh being back in the line-up?

yea of course htey will "recruit" but they will have to get more than one person to keep their team on the same level as baylors

in a couple of years it looks like baylor will dominate,because mccallie's middle school team isnt as good as it has been in the past

i think fr may pass mccallie because mccallie's middle school team isnt to good this year, and fr has some very good freshman

as a wrestler i find them really annoying when im wrestling, your on the mat trying to hear your coach and they're cheering so you cant, and then at tournaments they make the teammates sit in the stands but let "cheerleaders" be by the mat, doesnt make much sense to me

joe young would be above ben johnson, and coffey is killing people so he should be on there

i know he lost is first match against ootwalh but i think he has been winning most of his matches since then

south pitt lost to mccallie by 60 points, they are definitely not the second best team

the nashville area has alot of good coaches blair,dunning,simpson etc

baylor has a pretty strong dual meet team

well mccallie pulled out a huge upset last night,so they look back to normal

well a wins a win and even if mccallie had all their starters,there is no definite way of knowing that mccallie would have won, after all charles green a returning state champ got pinned, and zach goss another returning state champ only won by 4-1 give the ooltewah team props for beating a team that last year beat them 54-11,and dont make excuses they have definitely improved and are now one of the best teams in the area

have there been any wrestle-offs yet? and the reason why i said adenji isnt going to be much help this year, is because i was talking about this year at the baylor match since that is the topic, i doubt he will start in it, at 215 or 275, i know he will most likely wrestle some of the easier duels

i know all about what hillwood has done in the past few years, but after one class leaves the go from 12-1 to 1- and something, that should never happen due to just one class leaving, i know it was a good class with dean, devan, porter and others,but that is just because of bad coaching, and with this loaded senior class they should have been able to do more(as freshman they had the most successful freshman team ever in hillwood history), but the season is over for them now and most of them won't play football for a team again... as a far as your other post earlier about the guy with 1000 points, that is just one of many stories i have heard of that, my old wrestling coach played for stratford i think , and his mom never came to any of his football games and wrestling matches except his last football game,its sad to see stuff like that happen thats what seperates metro with alot of other areas in the state, parent involvement
