Viking football is good to go. The players are in tune with the new philosophy and it just needs time to develop. Their defense was great as always this past season and with an entire year with the new offense the vikings will be a different next fall. As far as the new freshmen there is talent there they just need a young man to run their offense and he still has one more year in middle school. Tn will be back soon mark my word...,,.

SH got out coached again like they have all year. They have just had the athletes to win all year. Carter is an awful coach. He won at south bc of curt phillips. SH may wanna clean house and find a staff that knows how to win instead of just being able to tell athletes were they should be at certain times. SH should be in the state every year with the athletes they have. Until they get a coaching staff they'll never get past the second round......

DB wore SH out. Swafford left, Swafford right, Slaughter up the middle......dang! The topper D better get it together or they'll get crushed in the first round. DB looked good last night but I think they'll be in trouble when they play a Knoxville team and they stop Swafford and the run game. Good luck....

Followed by a one and done once again in the play-offs......

I have seen both SH and DB play this year. They both have big O-lines, they both have a number of skilled players. The difference in this game is goning to be whether not SH can stop Swafford and the the DB running game. In my opion they cant. DB is very physical in the line of scrimmage and they're backs are very fast and run hard. SH is not as sound as DB. I think that the DB defense will force 3+ tournovers and capitalize on the SH mistakes. This will be a close one early but DB pulls away in the 2nd half for a big win and a 10-0 season. DB-42 SH-21 This will be the biggest game of the year for both schools. I dont see either one going deep into the playoffs. With Maryville and Riverdale in 6A neither DB or SH has a shot at state.
