Most of the guys that played against Spring Hill was Freshmen too. I watch every film and hardly ever miss a practice. Doesn't take a intelligent person to figure out the line isn't working hard. When you got the linemen doing bear crawls and running nearly every practice cause their not doing their job something is wrong. Smith should have been let go last year, but he wiggled his way into staying. If he doesn't tighten up on these boys and stop playing favorites then I see this being his last year. Giles had several guys not to return this year because of Smith and some played every since their freshman year. Giles fans are usually faithful fans. The Fayetteville City scrimmage the stands were packed, but I do know some long time faithfulls are so disgusted over Smith that they have jumped off.

Don't matter who they was suppose to play. They didn't play a 1a school. They still looked good and they did score a touchdown. Those young guys have the fight in them to be on the field and that is what it takes. They ran the ball well and passing was good for yardage.

JV squad didn't play a 1A school. They actually played against Spring Hill and they was a lot more impressive than the varsity squad. Even if the O-line has played together since their sophomore year, they have got a lot to work on as a team. You got three players blocking one man isn't going to get it for the Giles Squad. They looked like to me they are a very lazy o-line. Smith needs to get over playing favorites and play his real athletes. We will see what they have come Friday.

I for one think it is stupid how they want each other to fail. Last week at the game half of Richland was sitting on the Marshall Co side. I think one thing it goes back to is cause Bo Wallace wanted to succeed and he did and Richland will never get over it. Since Richland has become open enrollment, kids have transferred to Richland and Richland is transferring to GCHS. Richland people don't like it when kids come there and they succeed over their kids. Giles County Folks need to stick together and support each other.

Jdjones767676, Is like big hemorrhoid. Go to the park and find some Kids to play flag with. Naw they probably wouldn't like you either, so stay home and stick with your one and only "old faithful"

With you JAFO. I can picture these two on the field. Tison' s grandfather never misses a game and very little practices, so this would be a tribute to him. All these boys have really shown so much respect. I know the other day after a practice I overheard a lot of the boys calling Mr. Cox granddaddy. This is really a great group of boys that we have. Win or Lose I will always be glad that I'm part of the BOBCAT NATION.

JAFO, well said. Men put all your heart and soul into this game not just for yourself, but for your fallen teammates. Your fans will have standing room only and we back you boys all the way. Wasn't it a couple years back when our old coaching staff was here that y'all broke into Sam Davis and repainted our Bobcat on our field. Our boys had no business disrespecting your mascot on the baseball field Friday night. Good Luck BOBCATS

CATFAN68, you have lost your freaking mind if you think Jennings knows anything about football. He is supposed to teach PE at PES and he can't to that. The old staff didn't want him on the sidelines when he was there. Walt is a good person, but a terrible coach. When this season is over with see where he is and the majority of the staff goes.

Most everyone knows that the majority of the GC coaching staff needed to be kicked to the curb weeks ago. Coach Blair, Haslip and Barger seem to care more and try, but if your head coach can't call but six plays it is time to go further. He has so much more talent on the sidelines that he will not play but his select few. Not going to call no names, but if their butt can't try on that field sit him out. You got a sideline that takes beatings almost all week, but never see the field. We have been down by to many points not to get a chance to prove what you can do. One poster commented to put Doc here and Cam there. Don't get me wrong they are good athletes. I hope Cameron steps up Friday night because he was playing lazy. I know he can't play all the positions, but Lucas plays with heart and he will get the job done wherever you put him. Boone has a Heart of Gold. I would love to see Osteen and Shirey back at GC, but the rest can stay far South as possible. Young men your fans will pack the stands this coming Friday night.
