Hickman- 45 MC- 10 MC ACTUALLY NOT A BAD SQUAD. They scored first making it 3-0. We came back scored a TD 7-3. Then MC scored making it 10-7. We kicked a field goal tied the game up. After that it was all bulldog football, ending the game 45-10. Was especially proud of the QB. 200+ passing yards and 4 touchdowns. JV played well too. 2nd string freshman QB scored once and defensively had an interception early in the 4th. MC idk why that squad isn't undefeated. I counted over 60 kids dressed out and had good size and speed.

I think that is right on the money for this week.

Fairview- 3-0 Lewis- 3-0 Hickman- 2-0 Stewart- 2-1 East Hickman- 1-1 Waverly- 1-1 Camden- 1-2 Creekwood- 1-2 MC- 0-3 That's where they stand so far if I am not mistaken (record wise) No doubt about it the first two at the moment are the teams to beat and ofc Hickman and Camden will show out and win big ones. EH disappointed me last week with that awful loss to Lewis. I expected more, don't get me wrong I was happy to see Lewis take the W, just wish it would have been closer.

We, and nearly every other teams fan base I have ever played or watched play, has always blown the horns. Actually the only place I found that rule at was in the handbook for indoor sports such as basketball etc. I found nothing in the football handbook about artificial noise makers.

Yeah but in middle school y'all had players that you no longer have at the high school level when you beat all those teams. Kids that has came from another school or left EH and went to a different school. No doubt though you are right about coaching. HC FV and LC are all better coached than EH. The talent is there but I can look at how some of those kids stances are that someone has not coached them in proper technique. They have some talent, and they have some decent kids, but EH has to come together and stick by the coach no matter how bad he does, some of the problem may lie within parents not respecting coaches which then turns into some of the better kids not respecting them either because of the parents. And that will ruin an entire season. EH should not have lost as badly as they did in this one, but they need to bounce back this week.

For sure. Hopefully will be as good as the two games last season. Hopefully it will be more like the playoff game than it will be the regular season one though lol.

Are we being monitored now about what we can and can't speak of on coacht? We are all in the same district, like I said in the Lewis vs EH thread, shut down 45 and your good to go. If Camden has the defense solid as everyone is saying then they should not have any problems with EH.

I agree, we are in the top 3 starting out, yet everyone still counts us out... We'll just sneak up and give em a big bite in the butt. But first we have to beat some real competition. EH next week then on to Lewis county, if we beat Lewis then everyone can talk.

Creekwood has a decent sized line but they are not any fits. Our 3rd string sophomore RB scored a 50+ yard TD on them. Ofc he had our varsity line in front of him... But that is still pretty good. Actually he ran around a 60 yard run when he was behind our second string line early in the 4th. The point is they are good sized but not coached well. Their offense runs no huddle a lot.. They get wore down quick and don't communicate the plays well to each other. Tell your fans to make a lot of noise and it will give their offense fits. They actually stopped our game Friday night to make our fans quit blowing air horns so that they could hear lol.

I doubt it will be a big loss. We were only up 27-0 going Into the 4th quarter against Creekwood. Rewis played out seconds the whole 4th quarter and for good reason. A win is a win no matter by how much, and it preserves our starters from getting injured. We could have easily beat them 41-0 if we had chose. I say if we get up 4 touchdowns easy during first half this Friday, I say seconds will come in mid way 3rd quarter.

They should start this season 3-0 and come out of East Hickman 4-0.

Everything is speculation, who knows what could happen, I think they just go by how many successful seasons in the last few years each team has had and what returning players they have. Lewis is ranked over HC because Lewis almost always has a successful season each year. While HC had one in 07 and 08 then didn't have another one until 11' and 12' and before 07' it was probably the early 90s or late 80s since we had a decent season. I believe the power rankings consider past years while most rankings just consider last season and returning starters and such. Who knows, I just hope HC and Lewis gets lined up just right for another playoff game this year.

No doubt. And no doubt fairview is ranked pretty high for good reason. As well as Lewis.

Wrong, I know we whooped y'all 41-14 my junior year (07') and then beat y'all 7-6 my senior year (08'). That's twice.

Yeah but it's usually always a pretty safe bet too that fairview gets knocked out of playoffs early. lol Just how the cookie crumbles I suppose.

And where does your stats to make that observation come from? I watched fairview play, they were good as a team, but nothing compared to pure talent of the past. Have yet to see Lewis play... But just like last year they blew east out then we beat them twice, after losing to east by a point then beat East in the playoffs. We have played two games... None of which I assume you have seen, tonight we beat CreekWood 27-0 and could have easily been 41-0. We played seconds entire 4th quarter. Our seconds even kept their starters from getting in the end zone. But just like you have your opinion I have mine. I say Lewis and HC will be fighting for top spot just like the old days. (07-08 years) not so old I suppose.

I feel bad for Austin, that kid gets hurt every year. Usually always a serious injury too. Even at the middle school level believe it was his 8th grade year he broke his leg or arm or something. We are definitely missing Brandon James on defense. And offense as well. He's so small and runs with so much heart and pride it makes it hard for linebackers to find him. Short yet strong and stocky. But the big threats tonight are going to be Roberts, Hill, Johnston, and Patton. Patton carrying the ball/making big hits defensively, Roberts throwing the ball, Hill catching the ball/laying big hits defensively, and Johnston is an all around type guy. You will see him come lay the wood on defense, defends the pass well, then you will see him catching a few balls offensively and making big plays on special teams. Oh, can't forget those linemen pulling their weight, Talley will do some work tonight, also Patton's younger brother (a freshman) will be getting plenty of PT I believe tonight. He did last week also. Great kid, and even better athlete. Hope he takes one to the house tonight. Well I think that is all my shutouts for today ! See everyone tonight !!!
