Well, it seems like only yesterday that my buddy, Sam Abernathy told me to listen to WDXE in the early mornings because Jack Cheatwood played the BEST music and could tell some awesome stories. Now, Elrod has passed away last year and we lost Jackie last night. I know the world keeps on turning, and life goes on, and all that, but it doesn't seem real.I called the station one morning and we were talking about playing baseball at Appleton, and some of the characters that we had crossed during...

I am so proud of our little Sundrop team. We won today, and they all played good. Maddox is getting better, each game, on the mound. He, Miles, Carter, and Will has really stepped up and recorded several defensive outs, the last few games. It's a lot of fun, to watch the little guys play, each game.

It was good to see my friends from Frito-Lay on the front page of the local paper. My good friend, Allen Shedd, was praised for performing CPR and using the paddles on James Allen, another person who worked for me, and saved his life. It is great to see that the safety training, that has been going on for years, pays off, when it is needed. I was on the very first safety committee formed, at that plant.

I am getting big as a COW.......or I feel like it.....

Man, ain't nothing better than watching those dudes hunt for "MOUNTAIN MONSTERS" on Discovery America. Grass man now........

Worst casting mistake ever..........Robert Goulet as a country singer on In THe Heat Of The Night.......hahahahahaha....comical.....

I don't know why,....but yesterday,my thoughts went back to the Mohawk Club when Barry Don Pierce lost a bet with Danny Wolf of the original Goodsprings Band, over the Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt football game in 1982, I think. Barry Don had to stand on stage, wearing a Vanderbilt jersey, while the band played a song......wonder what makes me remember these things......

Maddox has been sick, all week and didn't play basketball, this morning. He is still coughing, quite a bit. Good call on not getting hot and cold, today. Love my little man.....hate it, when he's puny......

I don't know when sign-ups for baseball is, but I am willing to help coach a team,(if you don't mind an old school coach)....My grandson is playing as a 6 year old. His birthday is May 5th. Give me a shout, if you need some help, this year......
