Greeneville and South Greene's seasons are over with.. Great seasons by both teams. the represented the BRAC well.. Just outplayed-outmatched a lot of dumb mistakes by both teams that they didn't make all season. it's a tough way to end the year. Great job devils and the rest of the BRAC Great Job to my REBS BRAC regular season and tournament champions!!

South Greene beat Johnson County Tonight by 28 points. It was a great crowd the game was close at first and South Greene's Talent just took over the game. They play Sullivan East on Tuesday. I'm sure this will be a great game. Hopefully South Greene will win this one and make it the finals and have a Sub State Birth.. Greeneville was down at half time from what I heard I think 31-26. But came back took one away from the Raiders. Greeneville will play Unicoi the battle of the Devils lol had to say it. it should be a good game. idk much about Unicoi I can say that they are good EVERY Year so they won't be a walk in the park by any means. But I think Greeneville can beat them and hopefully meet South Greene in the Finals for the REMATCH that everyone wants to see... Lets get it done BRAC. The girls showed out and proved that they ruled in this area lets make the same statement for boys basketball.. Great games coming up at CD monday and tuesday.. BE THERE!! GO REBS

Cumberland Gap beat Grainger in a OT Thriller.. Gap controlled the ball game most of the game let Grainger crawl back in and made it a ball game.. Spaw and Arnold didn't have great games.but overall a good game..now on to the championship. South Greene beat Greeneville in a great one. South Greene was in the lead most of the game. with lead of 16 at one point just controlled the game for a while. Greeneville kept fighting and cut the lead down to 2. South Greene hit free throws to ice the ball game. Great game teams played hard. MVP for the season was Ben Arnold MVP for the Tournament was Ethan Wykle i don't know all the names for all season or all tournament teams. but i'm sure they will be in the Greeneville sun. Great BRAC Tournament. every game was good the crowds was great. overall a fun time at CDHS.. South Greene Regular Season and Tournament BRAC Champions!!! GO REBS!

South Greene plays Greeneville in the BRAC championship on Tuesday night. Grainger plays Cumberland Gap for 3rd place on Tuesday. South greene and Greeneville have home court for regionals while Grainger and Gap will be going on the road to play 1 & 2 seed of the three rivers... If you wasn't at CD last night it was a dandy great games. Monday night is girls Tuesday is boys

True statement about Greeneville. The Greeneville fans haven't been proud since Ole Billy D walked out the door. He kept the Devils Fans happy with good athletes over the years. Some Greeneville natives some out of state that he talked into coming here. not going to use the word recruit cause when someone like Wiggins walks into Greeneville it's clearly for Greeneville's perfect school right? lol Greeneville is a good squad it's just not as lopsided as football. So Greeneville can't down any county teams cause Greeneville doesn't pound them by 40 every Friday night. Devils should post more but they won't cause it's hard to gloat when your team doesn't dominate every season. Prob piss off some devils faithful but it's facts. They still post on football completely oblivious of the Basketball team success this year. They beat a VERY good Science Hill team that might make a run at State this year no post about the GREAT victory on this at all. SAD so SAD..that is all... I'm very excited about this postseason it should be a dandy that is for sure...

It looks like my pre mature bracket is correct.. 1st Seed South Greene(auto to Regionals)-Bye (Gets Winner of the Grainger Claiborne Game) 2nd Seed Greeneville vs 7th Seed West Greene (Gets winner of Cumberland gap Chuckey Doak Game) 3rd Seed Cumberland Gap vs 6th Seed Chuckey Doak (Gets winner Greeneville West Greene Game) 4th Seed Grainger vs 5th Seed Claiborne (Winner Play South Greene) BRAC Tournament starts on Thursday at Chuckey Doak High School. Not sure when these games will be played yet. But those are the First Round and Potential Second Round games. I'll post times later on the week when I find them out. Should be a fun time at CDHS. That's very true. Either way 2 or 3 seed will either play CD or WG 1 4 5 6 7 seeds are a lock.

South Greene locks up the regular season championship. They get a first round bye that means they already make regional. I believe the the bracket will look like this. Home Away 2Greeneville vs 7West Greene 3Cumberland Gap vs6Chuckey Doak 4Grainger vs 5Claiborne Winner plays South Greene Not sure if this correct but I believe that this is how the bracket turned out with how all the teams finished.This has been a great season. As I stated before the season Greeneville is not as talented like they are in football meaning that the 56-14 blows out you see in football doesn't mean that they will do that in basketball. Greeneville hasn't been the same since Wiggins stepped out. Chuckey Doak surprised me this year they are a bit better than expected but could be better if people didn't quit this year. Grainger is a very good team as well with some great players. Spaw can play!!!!! Claiborne have 2 very good players on there team. Cumberland gap just say the name Ben Aronld and that is all that has to be said on that one!! West Greene they are super young and the coach seems to be teaching them. just tough these next 2 seasons out buffs you guys will prob be a good team soon. if the kids listen to this coach. Wow Grainger stepped up tonight and shocked the devils! that puts South Greene back up in 1st place in the standings I believe. Rebs walked past the buffs tonight. they didn't really put much effort into their performance tonight they kind played down to west greene still won by 20. Gap beat Chuckey Doak and Claiborne was out of BRAC play tonight..

It hurts a lineup when a kid who is the tallest on the team and leads the team in rebounds and idk the stat but prob top 3 in the BRAC rebounding wise goes out. that will hurt a lineup South Greene got smaller when he didn't play and that plays to Greeneville strength. I think there tallest person is 6'2 which that's Jacob Cobble he is a great player but lets face it the kid isn't a post he is a wing player. there best rebounder is Trevor Ford and he 6'0 but has crazy hops like very good for his height.But they don't have that 6'5 kid at post this year like in years past.. Ethan is 6'4 6'5 but that's not what makes him successful on the boards it's his insane reach he has this kid has rondo arms they are so long that helps him out a lot. when you take that away from a team who next tallest person is 6'2 that hurts. South Greene don't have a Trevor Ford who can jump over people. but with Ethan in the line up Trevor wouldn't have much success getting the ball. Not saying if he would of played that the game would of changed. Greeneville played Lights out! Shot GREAT can't take that away from them. I will say that they would of not got all those 2nd chance points if he was in the line up he isn't king james but he is taller and longer than Greeneville's team that's why they lost at rebel hill cause they couldn't get boards over him and it helps when Collins pours in 28 lol. These 2 teams will be in the ship. It's been a fun season so far that's for sure

Some little bug that has been going around he should be ready to go tomorrow night. And West Greene if they keep working hard they will be good in a couple of years. he is a young coach and is pretty strict to them which is a good thing. And barb well 6 of those came off getting a 2nd chance of a rebound if he was in the middle you can count on them not getting my 2nd chance points. I'm not taking anything away from greeneville they was shooting the lights out and could not be stopped but it would of helped us out if we had our middle man to grab some boards and cut down on those open 3's they got off 2nd chance points.

They did play bad.. They was missing their starting center last night. which hurts them cause they hardly give up 2nd chance points but last night greeneville either got the offensive bored and passed out for a open 3 or they took advantage of our tall lanky center being out and taking 3's in the corner. They refs was bad on both sides.physical,intense game this game was fun to watch it was hard to watch the rebs struggle with no post in this game. but they will bounce back and get a w this Friday! these 2 teams will be in the finals!! this is a very fun season. it's a shame no one really post on here when the race for crown is more close than it will ever be in football..

South Greene beat Cumberland Gap tonight 59-48. They improve to 5-1 in League play.South greene goes on the road friday night to take on Grainger.

How are the teams in the BRAC doing over Christmas break? Any up coming games? where they at? lets keep this thing going this is so dead compared to football. where are all the greeneville fans i know you guys are rolling deep on coacht your the ones who post the most on any board. Here is a update of South Greene over the break. They played in the Trailblazer Classic. First night they beat Daniel Boone by one in a thriller Collins lead the Rebs with 28 points and 9 steals. Second night they play David Crockett and lost by 6 or something close to that number. good game just shot poor and played poor in this ballgame. They play at Sullivan north next week. They play Elizabethton in their first game!

Bad night at CD. But still good enough to pull it out! Shot bad all night and played sloppy. Every team has a night where things are not working on all cylinders and this was the night the rebs wasn't hitting on all cylinders. Now they move on to play Boone today at 8 Go Rebs!
