Sorry just got online. Whos winning?

After watching both teams play yesterday here are my thoughts 1. Tempo A. If Perry Co. can run their game plan and control the tempo then it will be a big advantage for them. B. If Lake Co. controls the tempo then I think their run and gun style will be hard to handle 2. Outside shooting A. Rhodes and Dill need to have a good day shooting from the outside to give Perry Co. the advantage B. Lake Co. has a strong paint presence but I think they will need some outside shots to fall if Perry Co. is shooting well from the outside 3. Defense A. Perry control will have to be strong in their defense to keep Lake Co. out of the paint B. Lake Co will have to be more protective on the outside shot than they were yesterday. Just my thought but I think it will be a great game either way

Hey Ambassador i think he was saying that you were one of the few that wasn't predicting a blowout or mercy rule game. Thats why he put you and Roy in the parenthasis.

I hope its not the Wayne Co. minis. Those little fellers looked pretty tough in the parade tonight. Looks like we got a bright future coming up!

I think Friday is the best thing that could have happened for our team next year. After having a taste of the spotlights these young guys will be hungry for more. I think we can and will make it to the playoffs.

In the words of Mr Vern Gosdin "do you believe me now?" No seriously guys it has been a blast this past week. I will say that I have great respect for the SP program and its players but this was Wayne County's week and year. I believed all along that Wayne County could win but didnt see it being by 13 as I posted earlier that i thought it would be a 5 point game either way, I got to meet some of the SP fans and posters at the game and for the most part they we great guys who love thier football just like we do. Congrats to SP on a great season. But for this year I can (and will) say the TSSAA class A State Champs are from Wayne County!!!!!!

And if im not mistaken Ensworth lost thier back with an ankle sprain in the first quarter

I hope it doesnt come down to a fieldgoal being the last play of the game for the win but maybe making one earlier on in the game could give an advantage.

Just a question here but does anyone see this coming down to a kicker making a PAT or field goal to possibly win this game? If so I think the advantage has to go to WC. I mean both sides like to think we can win by 14 or so but IMO this is going to be a defensive battle for the ages. And this has nothing to do with the championship game a couple years ago before i get blasted about that!!!

OK heres my prediction. This is going to be a whale of a game by both teams. SP is hungry for back to back titles and WC is hungry for thier first title. Schedules, past wins or loses, whos done what up till now wont matter come Friday because these two are both gonna bring thier A games.No matter what I or any other poster says or posts it will be decided by these young men on the field. Both teams have awesome athletes and from all indications are very good sportsmen. Best of luck to both teams and lets all hope that it is the battle we anticipate. I predict a 5 point or less victory either way. But gotta pull for the Cats in this one to get the Gold Ball
