Agreed. But basketball always comes into the conversation, so thought I'd give my two cents. But if things would be better if a middle school was in place (which I agree with totally) then what is the disconnect when football has a "middle school program" and some sports do not but yet still compete?

Basketball was in shambles too and the right hire was made, football can bounce back as long as the right person is in place to teach the kids that should be playing in the program. Maybe the New guys on staff can get the kids back out, but one would think the HC would have the capability of doing that himself. Time will tell, but time is running out IMO.

Some believe (not saying I do) that it's a football Coach to all the way up the Administration ladder issue. Therefore some have mentioned a buyout of the Director. Thought you were from here and assumed you had heard the same

It's up to the Principal to do the firing. Yes, the good ole boy system can be in place and the Board can pressure or influence the Principal, but should be his decision he needs to make. Redmolly....are you implying that buying out our Director (as rumored) will not be an option?

Upperman with the transfer wins it. York and Macon are right there with my understanding they virtually return everyone. Smith could and IMO will surprise people to be right there. Biased opinion, but Cannon will get more out of their kids talent wise then anyone in the district. Still slot them mid to low on the totem pole due to how much they graduated, but watch it play out.

Those of you who believe starters in up 30 that late are entitled to your own opinion. This I grant you. But actual people who are knowledgeable about sports know you don't steal home plate up 10 runs, throw the Hail Mary up 40 and run the score up with starters that late. Come on people, do you live in a hole and only watch one game per year?
