What happened? It was 10-0 then 10-7 the seconds later 10-14. I am out of state and only able to watch the data

How much time left?

In 2011 A'ville made it to the semi's. In 2012 they made it to the championship and lost so it would make an incredible story if in 2013 they won the championship. I would love to see that BUT from what I have seen and heard this season…….I estimate the final being TC-44, A'ville-7 and yes, that was the score last year in the FC/A'ville championship. Game shouldn't be televised. They should just play last years FC/A'ville game and find someway to edit the green out replaced by purple. It's going to be the same exact TV show.

This is definitely the real state championship. Whoever wins this game will completely blow out either Adamsville or Trinity probably in a shut out (or like last year with A'ville losing 44-7 and their 7 came on a completely busted play they got lucky on)

Congratulations Jackets on a GREAT season! 12-1 is something to be real proud off. To bad it has to end next week but hold you heads up high. Again, great season.

What is the QB situation for next year?

Thanks for asking Slim-You know, we just capped off 3 great years with Back to Back championships and a 34-7 record. How's TC's last couple of years been?

Really! So whoever said it would be close seems to have nailed it so far.

I was a huge Swindoll fan but there is just no comparison between he and Long at QB. Yes-Swindoll beats him in the leadership category but overall passing and strategy, no. After reviewing the 2012 results, I will come over to your side and agree that they most likely would have won with Swindoll and no Long. None of the 14 wins were even close games. They were all complete blow outs.

Also, while Long is an excellent QB, I don't think another championship is as important to him as some think. He has his college destination locked in and I believe that is what he is focused on. I believe we could have beat Webb with him. When he didn't show for TC I think that threw everyone off and thus the entire team was completely out of sync. I didn't think we would beat DCA with or without him and that obviously turned in to a shoot out win. IF we win this one against SG, I believe the next two games will be DCA then Webb for the final and, even though I am a HUGE FC fan, I don't see us getting through DCA a second time then having to beat Webb. Hopefully I am wrong.

Couldn't agree with you more. I was merely pointing out a stat. I followed the team closely (in person) for all of 2011 and between the two titles I think 2011 was a much more magical year. I also know that very few gave FC even a remote chance to repeat due to FC being primarily a defensive team and losing so many to graduation. (remember in the 2011 championship that our passing stats were 0-2 yet we won 34-0). I do think the Long played a huge role in transitioning the team from a defensive team to an offensive team and I also think that had he not been there we would have not made it all the way. Hollis was O-player of the championship and totally deserved it. Don't want to over emphasize Long's contribution but also don't want to under emphasize it either.

So difficult to predict. FC new to D2 and they've never played each other. FC with back to back titles but down a lot of players due to graduation. Don't count out FC QB AJ Long. FC is 21-1 when he starts and the 1 loss (by 7 points) was because he was taken out due to injury.

I am gonna laugh my butt off when you guys go down on Nov 29. Can't wait. Even with FC out of your league (in more ways than one) you guys still can't get in.

I know TC is going to win this one and also beat Marion the following week. What killed TC in 2011 was thinking about round 3's Boyd game instead of the round 2 Friendship game. They figured they shut out FC in the regular season so it's really more of an elaborate practice, right? Guess what, they were playing basketball the next day. Hopefully they have learned a lesson from that one.

Would love to see BB win this. My gut says "no chance" but then again, that's what I said against Silverdale and they stinkin' knocked off an undefeated team, got a first round bye and hosting a round 2 game. So, you can never count the Bucs out. Never.

To respond to your comment of "can we shake it". The answer would be "no". I think we all know what happened last time TC had a bye week. However, even with the rust, you will pull out an easy win this week and next week. Again, 11/29 is the end of your season. Talk all the smack you want but the bottom line is that Knox Grace had 457 points "for" and 92 against compared to TC's 348 points "for" and 148 against.

As I am an FCS fan I have to pull for BGA in this one because I don't want FC to face DCA in the round following this weekend. We pulled out a "W" in the final seconds. Sooooo that being said, "GO Wildcats" oh wait.....there are both Wildcats...

Jackets win this one big. They will beat Marion big as well on 11/22 to get back at them for last year.....BUT it all comes to an end for the Jackets on 11/29 as they will lose to Knox Grace in a tight one. No gold ball for TC. Hope you aren't losing too many seniors. Maybe you will have another shot next year!

It's a real toss up but overall I say bye weeks are a very bad thing. You don't want to stop the momentum.

Not really saying TC has no chance. It's just this whole garbage of "we deserve it, we're the best, we've won a lot of past championships" blah, blah, blah. Just remember these numbers: 11.11.11! (Actually, if you do remember what those numbers are, you have a better chance of going all the way.

How wrong I was predicting Boyd to finish 3-7. Can't believe a 4-7 team makes the playoffs, a first round bye and hosting a home game. Congrats Bucs. Going to be a tough hill to climb but at least you're in!
