Thoughts for this game? I don't see this game being that close, LCHS got beat 31-0 by Columbia last friday who lossed 28-0 on Thursday Night. I know Giles County won big last Friday too. I think this could get ugly for LCHS, but it is a big time rivalry game so the kids will be up for it. I think Cobb (GCHS QB) will be too much for LCHS, and they win by 17+

The QB for Giles County, Cobb I think, is he a JR or SR? If he is a SR, is he being recruited to play football at the next level? I've heard on local radio, he could be better than Wallace, and that kid is probably going to be the starter for Ole Miss. I mean Ole Miss is in the SEC, but I would not consider them an SEC Football team. They are looking at a long dark tunnel and it'll be years before another Manning is ready for college!

The district tournament has turned out to be a really good one this year. LCHS finished a 3-0 clean sweep of a good Lincoln County team on Saturday to move on the district championship for the third year in a row! I can not remember the last time LCHS has ever been able to do that. Tullahoma played a good game vs. Columbia Sat. night as well, and let them get back into it in the fourth quarter. LCHS is looking to defend their district championship from last season with a MUCH less talented team. The game on Tuesday night should be a good one, and either team is really deserving. Does anyone know who the four teams that our district is projected to play in the opposite region? I know LCHS/Tullahoma already have a home game for first round in the region, and LCHS will need all the help they can get.

This is turning into a great race to the finish in this district. Huge game for Law. Co. Friday night @ Columbia. A win there will give them a great inside track to the number 2 seed for the district tourny. They have three road games left to end the season, but the columbia one is the biggest. They hold the tie breaker vs. Lincoln County as well. What are the other games tomorrow night? Could someone post the records of each team and where they are in the district?

Yes, Tullahoma looks like the team to beat. They are currently at the top of the region. They play @ Lawrence County on Tuesday night. This will be a good measuring stick for the Wildcats. After this game, you should be able to see if LCHS is capable of truly competing in the district. Lawrence County really needs to win, since falling to Columbia last Tuesday.
