  1. I had a friend tell me about this stupid thread. Again, I would really appreciate it "basketballnutty", if you leave my boys (Plunketts) names out of your posts. I am going to make this very clear for everyone. There is absolutley no hard feelings from my family towards Coach Wilson at all. I wish him the best and all the great players and friends the best as well. I respect his coaching and his commitment to the game. It didn't work out for us at Harpeth and I hate it. It was not Coach Wilson's nor my son's fault it didn't work out. But we have moved on, so I wish you would, who ever you are basketballnutty. I hope Coach Wilson and his boy's win every game, unless they are playing us, of course. I will not and never will root against Harpeth. Play hard and win!!!!!! This is the first time I've been on here this year and it will be the last. This is absolutly ridiculous. And amen Judy Gail !!!!
  2. awesome brscket!!!! A lot easier to keep up with. Thanks ksgovols
  3. At this point in the season, it comes to how teams match up against each other. For instance Giles has the athletes to deny Culp the ball. We at Creek Wood didn't and couldn't and he punished us for it. And Giles has the quickness and length inside to handle Hudson. I'm not saying Camden can't win, but it will be a different look than what they've seen all year. I haven't seen Marshall County but Cheatham has a good team and a lot of "will to win" attitude and if they are on can beat any of these teams As for Harpeth and Fairview, I just can't see Harpeth losing to Fairview. They will play the winner of Giles/Camden. Harpeth plays a defensive style that makes teams have to create and an offense that works on sets and positions and if they are hitting 3's like they are capable, can also beat any of these teams. What will give them fits is the 12AA teams are athletic and most of their offense runs on creativity not so much on sets. Take it the rack, dish or finish. That get up in your face defenses fits the 12AA teams all night long. And I can't see Waverly getting past Spring Hill. Again, I've seen them play and they are loaded. But of course, any one can be beat on an off night. Hey I wish I knew about this site a long time ago. I love nit picking things. Regardless we all can say what we want on here. Playing on the floor as a player and sitting on the bench coaching.... well thats why I'm on here typing and in the stands watching. For me a sweet victory would be 1-2-3-4 seeds from 11AA win their games Saturday. After that 1 and 2 in our region (11AA or 12AA) gets my support no matter who it is when they play in the sectionals.
  4. First and upmost I would like to congratulate Harpeth on winning the tournament chanmpionship. Although we moved and my oldest played for Creekwood this past year, I'm still glad Harpeth won, the boys deserve it. I will pull for them every game, unless of cousre when they are playing Creek Wood. And I think 11AA will be represented well in the region. Creekwood played Fairview twice this year and beat them pretty easy. Harpeth will have no problem with them at all. Fairview can't match up with Harpeth's quickness. And Harpeth winning the tourny, put themselves on the opposite side of Spring Hill, which is loaded. I watched them play this year and they are loaded 2 or 3 deep. And although Creek Wood is out I will be pulling for all district 11AA teams. My prediction is Harpeth vs Spring Hill in the finals. That #1 seed is huge. But there is a lot of ball left to play. Of course it would be great to see Cheatham play Spring Hill and win and have another Harpeth, Cheatham rematch. And Camden has been plaing well also. If Culp is hitting fade away (Larry Bird) 3 pointers, he cant be gaurded once he gets the ball. He killed us (Creek Wood) in the tournament. Good player. Anyway just a few thoughts.
  5. Thanks William. Just wanted to clear it up for those who don't know us.
  6. As my user name lets everyone know who I am, I will continue. I'm not sure why someone uses another person's name on this site. My brother let me know someone was using my son's name on here. Any one who knows myself, my wife and my kids knows we would never write or say, discriminating or negative comments about a child. Especially using someones name. To Saunders: I am sorry someone is using my son's name negitavely toward Jake and your team. To everyone: Know that any post from someone using my son's name on this site is not being written by anyone in my family. Especially Rollie. The person posting this is Tim Plunkett, Rollie Plunkett's dad. So there is no confusion. Good luck to all the teams
