R1 = Boone R2= Hardin Valley R3= Oootewah R4= Siegal R5= Clarksville R6= Dickson R7= Arlington R8=Collierville Those are my very undeducated guess's. Don't know enough about most to even call them predictions!

First off Soddy won fair and square. They hit we didn't. As far as bad calls really just a typical game on both sides, however the strike zone the first 3 innings was absolutely rIdiculous for both sides. He did argue a call on a tag at 2nd base in the 7th. He wanted the plate umpire and 3rd base umpire to change a safe call on a running tag away from the base at 2nd. they were both 90' away and of course they didn't change it. After having a day to look back at it I wished the outcome was different but, it is what it is. Do I think they put 8 on Cookeville again if they play? Absolutely not! We have played alot better teams than Soddy this year and beat a couple of them. I see Soddy and Wes making a silent exit after Wednesday. They got Ootewah once but I don't think that will happen again. Really liked watching their lead-off and catcher play though. Those 2 are good players.

As you know my time for now ended in this district last night. Very proud to have gotten to be apart of this group of girls softball journey to this point. Some of them are going on to continue in college playing ball and some played their last game last night. I hope that somehow we have left the district better than we found it and that it continues to grow. Good luck in the future with these girls coming up. Who knows I may be back in a couple of years! It has been fun!

Look if you truly feel as if you are being bullied I apoligize that was never and never will be the intent. My point is you want to anonymously call out teams coaches and even girls as if they don't read your posts. You say you are here to help???? to speak the ugly truth, for the love of true fastpitch .Who are you trying to help.Where is that love of the sport for this district?They don't even know who you are? I have read your posts and even recently reread your posts dating back to April 2014. Most of those haven't been in anyway offensive but some were.The point is since in 2014 when you started posting this (ON THE 6AAA TOPIC) what have you done to help these girls! I am gone soon from this district and alot of these girls that I coached will be too, If you truly love this game and your daughter is still going to be here then please next year come out of the shadows and do something to help them! BTW this is never going to have the same mentality as travel ball but of course I think you already know this.

I know you pretty well Ryan and have always thought of you as a straight up guy and a good coach. You went through tough times at Warren and voiced your opinion and I respected that you always used your name. My point is that if you are going to be critical of others and have such a varied opinion as "softballtheonlygame" has then please have enough conviction of your own beliefs to use your name. It is almost comical at times that such an opinion is hung on a faceless name tag. Just can't respect that!

If you have that much experience and expertise then answer me this. Why aren't you doing something to fix it. A good coach can motivate or evacuate a bad attitude. A good coach teaches everyone around him that the small group that complains are the losers the big group that sticks together and helps are the champions of this sport. Your idle critizing does absolutely nothing to help this district. If it is that bad then we'll you know we're the door is!

I'm sure not everyone will agree but that's ok. I think the district this year looked better than last year. This being my 6th straight year with a daughter in the district I can say that the top 3 teams were competitive and equal in a lot of ways. The championship tonight came down to a Cookeville senior hitting a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 8th. That being said. That is the closest championship game this district has had the last 6 years. Good luck to all of the teams in this district in a the future and especially to Rhea county in the Regionals against Ootewah. After reading all the back and fourth on here about talent, teamwork , coaching and all the what ifs and predictions I have some advice for those making statements behind blind usernames. If you don't like how it is pick up a glove, a tee, a ball and a clip board and be part of the solution. If not just be a fan and remember the worst player in this district has put in a lot more work at this than you! Rusty Price

District 6AAA better be aware. We just played the most improved team I have seen in just one year. Warren County has what it takes to make serious noise in the District this year. I was very impressed how they never quit fighting and 1 thru 9 can hit the ball. My hats off to the coaches and players.

Personally I am just ready to get this season started. I look forward to seeing what this season brings. I know a lot of the seniors in this district and they can write their last chapters this season. It is up to them what kind of legacy they leave. As far as picking an order of finish or district champion I will leave that to all you experts. I hope every girl in the district plays like a pro and loves it like a tee-baller! Wow only on CoachT. First Jones doesnt "throw it straight". Secondly. We have played Coffee County alot in the last few years. Brianna pitched good all year. But this was definately the weakest Coffee County team ive seen. Three district losses when they had never had one in 6AAA. As far as Riverdale goes I wouldnt say the weakest Ive seen them but definately not up there normal strengths. I would say 5-5 the if they played 10 times. Either way both sides should be proud but probably not boastful.

I will bet Unicoi County is enjoying reading this. I watched them beat Greenbrier. Very good game but Unicoi came out on top. Dont know alot about them other than they can really hit. New team and individual home run records set this year. Will be interesting to see how they do in Murf.

I was going to say that it looks like a new rivalry may be forming between Bledsoe and Upperman but, I think a rivalry requires both teams having wins against each other?

The next year after alot of hard work and support those girls won every national title out there against the biggest names in the country. So dont say cant or too little or whatever. Its dont wont to.
