therealstatechamp99 I believe Cleveland's run blocking is the only think keeping them from being a great team. Although they do give Austin time to throw the ball, they just arent a physical bunch to keep them with a balanced attack. But Cleveland will still win this game. Cleveland is coming in with a vengance. They will throw and catch all over the field and the running game will look much different against this Owl defense. Can't wait to see Benny on the right sideline Friday.

'therealstatechamp99' They played from behind the whole game. They threw the ball 50 times for over 300 yds. Running game requires blocking and talented backs.

'therealstatechamp99' Not to mention Cleveland does have some talented running backs as well. They also throw the ball very well as most seen vs maryville. If catholic is one dimensional and some somehow Cleveland finds a way to stop the run, Cleveland will win this game. Cleveland's corners are probably the best I've seen in a long time. Should be a interesting game. Not saying they are not talented (backs) but you do realize they combined for 40 yards rushing in the game?

sometimes one does not look at itself as close as they do others. Keep that in mind as you ponder these accusations of dirty play or ghetto ball. Maybe watch the players that were mentioned in future ball games the eye in the sky will not lie. It is possible that it was an isolated incident, time will tell.

'CheckerboardEndzone' Seen them both play. I'm taking Polk in this one. Central won't be seeing playoffs this year or any year in the future until/unless the complexion of teams in the district changes. Coach Allen has been saying for two years that "next year's" team will be far better. He also has stated that, if he's playing freshmen on varsity, that's a sign he's really in trouble. So...I guess we'll see before long how much "trouble" CC is in. I wish the best for the program, but I also think the deck is stacked in that district...will always be an uphill challenge. I like coach Allen and know some kids on that team. Really wish they could all experience success sooner than later Do you know John Allen?

'CheckerboardEndzone' No doubt their line doesn't average 6'5"/300, but who's does anymore? They run shotgun spread, so a little less critical to be huge. Certainly a work in progress but ended a quarter of competition with significant and positive yards in both passing and rushing. Should have had two scores, and their defense held firm. Now on to the real games... Cleveland looked great really explosive on O and Defense played fast.. Pretty sure they are back or close. Maryville better buckle thier chin straps partner.

Also embarrassing when lil rebs put our starters back in during final minutes to keep a 13 player rockford team (with 2 girls) from scoring to preserve our shutout record and the 54-0 victory. Anyone else there for that? Just curious... The actions of those two programs may be why the high school coaches send their kids to the titans/cubs/bears. Mmmm... GQ wont do it, but some revenge from that whoopin cleveland gave us way back when would be ok with me. Benny is back so beware....

After looking at previous posts there is nothing unbiased about your comments toward Bradley Central, you even talk about the announcer so your problem is not just with the kids. YOU do not like Bradley so when you get on Bradley topic and start talking about the total program , do not be surprised if someone defends our School. Peace out
