  1. Plain ole Butt whipping.
  2. Unfortunately, in Memphis, many of the AA and A schools don't have cheerleaders and the fan base is weak. At the sectional at Manassas, the crowd was about 50/50. Sad I must admit, but like Cody said, no matter how good, if it isn't AAA girls or boys, then the attendance is low. Many of the good AA and A girls teams have become accustom to winning in spite of how many fans are there for the other team.
  3. Well stated. Like I said, this should be a great tourney and I pray the TSSAA and the refs allow the teams to win.
  4. Technically - 34 miles (less than an hour drive) is in your backyard. Being that CPA is from Nashville.
  5. Thanks GCPioneer. I am a realist. The Tigers will definitely have to stay focused. This is a tough field. I pray that TSSAA and those refs won't have a say in this tourney and simply let the teams decide.
  6. I am a Tiger fan, and if you haven't experienced the pressure defense from the likes of Manassas, then "whoa" to ya. I saw the Obion/Covington regional championship, and considering like opponents for Manassas and Obion (Covington), don't be surprised that the "tough draw" for Manassas end up watching the rest of the tourney from the stands like the rest of us. One thing for certain, the Tigers from Manassas won't be nervous like they were in last year's tourney. As for the home court advantage for CPA, the Tigers are use to traveling w/o their fans, as well as playing in hostile gyms. Good luck to everyone.
