  3. GP is a private school and should be in the same division as JP II, Ensworth, GPS etc... My daughter goes to a small public school and works very hard at everything she does, including softball. But I agree, if you want your child or team to get better, you have to play the best completion that you can find. If you are looking for W's and are playing the less competitive teams you are only cheating your players, team, school, and your community. If TC don't want to play, they are only hurting their self.
  4. First of all, why are Middle Schools even considered as being sanctioned? For one, there are no state tournaments for them and it just prevents the girls from playing travel and gaining more experience. I thought the goal was to allow them to be as good as possible. Secondly, if you are going to sanction some, why dont you sanction them all? Lastly, why dont Middle Schools in middle Tennessee play in the Fall like every other state?
  5. It will be hard to determine what happens in this district. Coach Evans brings a lot of experience to the East Robertson team, Houston County should be decent with the players they have coming back. Then there is Heritage. They have a new coach and she is working the ladies harder than ever before. Sam Cook will be leading the pitching duties and will be a strong hitter for them as well. Then there is Hailey Stone, who is proven to be a successful player, both defensively and offensively. Good luck to all of District 10A.
