  1. So sad to hear of a young person taken so tragic. Don't know him or his family but heard he was a good kid with a bright future. Prayers from Wilson Central.
  2. Congrads to Mt. Juliet. Great season and great kids. I have known most of them since T-Ball.
  3. Don't forget TJ Mitchell (DT) at Siegel. Wilson Central Cameron Clemmons - OT (lots of looks) Jordan Poole - LB (very very stong and fast)
  4. 9AAA Boys 1. Beech 2. Mt. Juliet 3. Wilson Central 4. Gallatin 5. LaVergne 6. Smyrna 7. Hendersonville Friday, Feb 20 at higher seeds at 7PM: Beech gets a 1st round bye Hendersonville at Mt. Juliet Smyrna at Wilson Central LaVergne at Gallatin Remaining Dristrict Games will be at LaVergne
  5. He played against Wilson Central last night (Sat., Jan. 31) and was fine when he left. I think he scored about 20. Central won by 3. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I think he hurt his finger on a dunk but other than that I think he was fine. Hope he is ok. He is a player that can take a game over.
  6. The coach has to stay in the game or the players will give up. At the WC - Gallatin game the other night Gallatin was down by 35 - 40 but the coach kept coaching. I thought she did a good job but she should have put in the reserves earlier. Central had gone to their Freshmen players and Gallatin kept the starter in until the last couple of minutes. I think you have to get the reserves in to keep them in the game and get experience. Gallatin just had a off night and Central was too strong. I look for a better game in January. GO LADY WILDCATS! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  7. Have to have the boys from Siegel - Hammonds, Gooch & Tate. Sorry to hear about Puckett. Hope he recovers. White County has a basketball history!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. Does anybody have the teams and schedule for the Smyrna Classic to be played on Friday (Dec. 19) and Saturday (Dec. 20)?
  9. Do you have a website or where and how you sign-up??
  10. Does anyone know when the King of the South Tournament is and where I could get information? It is usually at the end of May in Nashville. Thanks.
  11. Where are you out of? Middle, East or West? What high school do they play for?
  12. Wilson Central Boys Team Camp: June 5-7 This is a great camp with quality coaches running it. Good competition.
  13. Great Camp! Everybody works hard to provide a great atmosphere for the teams. GO WILDCATS!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  14. Jasmine did earn the award. She goes out everynight with a target on her back and other teams have tried to stop her all season. Some teams have been successful at slowing her down but I don't think anyone has stopped her. She is the centerpoint of the team and worden55 is correct when he said you build around what you have. The other players (JC, CB, LW, KM and IH) have really developed around her and contribute a lot. It makes them better to have a go to girl like Jasmine, but they are good on their own. The Lady Wildcats missed JC's floor leadership but rallied. Chelsea really had to take over a role she had not played all season and that was floor leader. Her and Lauren did a great job controlling the tempo of the game and making good decisions. All in all, the team really came together when JC went down and Jasmine took over the games. She was not going to be denied. We wish JC the best and know she will be back. As for the student section, I was also disappointed but it is the start of Spring break for the school and a lot of students have left for vacation. I was proud of the ones that were there (including my son) and they yelled with all they had. I saw a lot of fans I had not seen at the games during the season. People need to support the team all season. Wished our cheerleaders would have won the cheeleader award. They did a great job as always. Love to watch the flips!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
