The ONLY reason I am hoping East wins tonight is, because I think Cheatham has better shot at CPA than East, and I would love to see that matchup, without having to travel to MTSU and pay high price. lol

the one thing I would say IDK how good their offense is under REALLY good defense, which I will see tomorrow night against East.

and when I say talented I meant raw talent, CPA has developed talent and is not raw. plus one of the best coaches. and there score sheet against Pearl was looking like that of a CPA in that many people had double digits. and pearl beat east earlier in the year, so don't say that was not a quality win.

Oh I never said I EXPECT THEM TO WIN, but after CPA they have the MOST BALANCED team where whole starting line up can shoot on any given night IMO. I agree CPA prolly wins, but if THREE GUYS on Cheatham were to heat up then they would definitely AT LEAST be playing with CPA. before I saw them play I agreed with all the above about schedules and what not. (still do on some) but I am just saying I think they might have best shot at CPA if anyone does.

I saw Cheatham play against Pearl and they are the first team with as many talented players as CPA that I have seen in a while. I think if they all shoot that they could be CPA but I think Blackwell would win that game for CPA, but just heads up to CPA that there is another team that has 4 shooters and 6"5 man inside (reason I think Blackwell wins if they play cause he would outplay him)

Yea PC is average when they can't hit shots but when they can they are pretty good, that's what separates them from east and cheatham, their not consistent enough

your right LBD and mumble but Pearl was shooting HORRIBLE FOR THEMSELVES TONIGHT they normally make AT LEAST half of the threes they missed tonight. sometimes more and if they did this game would have been a good bit closer.Now don't take anything away from Cheatham. THEY ARE DEFINITELY GOOD and shooters everywhere. they would have won this game even if pearl was hitting, but would have been A LOT closer if pearl was hitting there shots tonight.

Not really I was at game and they shot the ball worse than they have all year. They lost to a team they had beat twice by 16+ both times. Also over half their shots were half way down then came out. It was definition of "of any given day"

well sycamore got beat that was an upset.

UPSET!!!! Westmoreland beats Sycamore! by 6. sycamore couldn't get some shots to fall that were in and out. credit to westmoreland made shots when had to.

I agree some with both the previous posts, I will say Cheatham County, IMO, has been battled tested, but I would have like to see them play more games throughout the year, but its whatever. at the same time though the wins Harpeth and Cheatham had over 10aa IN THE REGULAR SEASON was early in the year(East and Pearl), and things have changed and all the teams involved have gotten better. I do think IF ALL the teams come to play that the closer game would be Cheatham County vs. Pearl, but both semi final games would be close. I do have Cheatham beating Pearl, but just barely, and have East winning by around 10 against Harpeth, if they don't underestimate them. Either way the loser of the region finals, more than likely, will have to go to CPA and that is not a good scenario for ANYONE.

CPA vs Waverly is my pick for finals. and CPA winning that and, shockinly, hosting cheatham county, I think East gets revenge and beat cheatham in 5-AA final.

I hope your right in that Creek Wood can match CPA, but I haven't seen it by hardly anyone in the state (any classification) and the last time they lost a game to a team from tennessee was over 2 years ago and counting I believe.

That may be true but how do they handle a very tough defensive pressure in CPA they don't just play offense they got good defense too. CPA can hit 3s and not just allsmiller, they got a couple of guys who can hit 3s that are on the bench.

yea I was shocked to hear lipscomb got beat, because lipscomb beat Hume-Fogg by little over 10 points both times. they looked like they must have contained loren cagle, because she only had 13. congrats to westmoreland though. I wouldn't be shocked to see if both games Monday at Maplewood were won by the 1 seeds pretty easily, but I hope not.

I remember 2010 and they did but Lindsey was 8th grade then and the other 3 were not either so of course they would lose then and remember who their LAST loss that year was to, greenbrier and who was with greenbrier? Bradshaw and the next year he was with CPA, so then they could get beat, now ummm no

I do agree though with Lipscomb for the exact opposite reason of what I said about MLK. Lipscomb has been playing well and WITHOUT their big man in the middle doing much. If they were to hit on ALL cylinders then not only could they pull off an upset, I wouldn't be shocked to see them possibly beat East (but unlikely), because they did play them close in the last regular season game of the year.

I agree somewhat with TheGame, but one thing that concerns me is MLK has not been playing too well (or at least jalen duke hasn't the past 2 games) and they WILL need him to play well if they want a chance to win this game. I do see Cheatham winning though, because we know they beat East earlier in year, although it was VERY early in the year and many things have probably changed.

did they? well truthfully I think district 10-AA 1 and 2 seeds (combined) are better than district 9-AA 1 and 2 seeds not saying they are better then sycamore, but that they have tougher 1 2 punch than district 9-AA. this is just an opinion though.so basically I think it will come down to can lipscomb beat sycamore. (if they win their first round of course) to see who will play MLK

It's district 10-AA turn to host I think so pretty sure it's maplewood. But first round in satellite games

in district 10-AA 1.MLK/Lipscomb 2. MLK/Lipscomb 3. Hume-Fogg 4. Maplewood in district 9-AA 1.Sycamore 2. Harpeth 3.Westmoreland/Cheatham County 4. Westmoreland/Cheatham County. So what does everyone think will happen in these possible matchups? I feel like the only possible close ones will be the 2/3 matchups, really both Sycamore and MLK should meet up in region finals, but it is possible that Lipscomb beats MLK.
